I feel sorry for the Xenomorph Monarchy that the Newborn form is their King. Glad that Xenomorph society is typically a Matriarchy however AFAIK.

Even ants societies are matriarchal but you don't see them creating complexes machines or you know... gunpowder and improve it.
My "canon" is that the Xenomorphs are the "humanoid-like" ants of that universe and they haven't taken over worlds in the style of AVP for the reason that they act like ants and can't get beyond the kill to eat and reproduce mentality, meaning they are not going to think that humans or other sentient species might have contingency plans for wipe them out.
