This sounds as dangerous as a fifth columnist in the ranks. Because this implies he can make appearances look good and be a snitch, not someone you would trust with a gun and to watch your back. A barracks' bunny would probably more reliable.
Depends on the blue falcon. Some maliciously are trying to make you look bad and them look good by tattling in some sort of social power play. Some are rules sticklers and are something of a teacher's pet type and they tattle because you're wrong and that ends up fucking you over plus they do want to look like the good soldier. But it's more about being right than how they're perceived or a power play for the latter.
You usually call them both blue falcons ('he/she is a blue falcon') but the former is said with vitriol and the latter is said with a groan. The latter also tend to grow out of it.
You always tend to exclude and distrust blue falcons, so they tend to... fade away as ranks go up. Via leaving, a desire to fit in and be included, or maturity.
The latter is usually trustworthy with things within certain competencies or tolerances.
Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't other flavours of shitbags in the ranks, but blue falcons, in my experience, tend to be lower enlisted or lower officers.
