I like how they fucked up the shotgun animation so bad (it still uses rifle rounds), that they simply made the shells invisible on extraction, instead of changing the animation itself.

So embarrassing.
Their reasoning? "It uses caseless shells", which is such a copout lmao, they only added that lore to be lazy.

... what???

... what???
Okay I'll say it step by step

Starfield's OG gameplay showing had a shotgun which you inserted rifle rounds into, and upon ejecting the cartridges they STILL had the rifle bullets in the cartridge.

New gameplay, it still loads rifle rounds into a shotgun, but now on ejection there are no cartridges at all to eject (They just made them missing from the animation/turned them invisible).

After this new gameplay, the new official canon is the shotgun is caseless, despite the rifle rounds obviously being made out of brass and...Well...Shotguns don't fire rifle rounds.

I am NOT going to buy another Bethesda game at launch. Hell no I won't go!!! I got burned on Fallout 76 and no more.

No game should be bought at launch. I did for years and I am grateful I learned that quickly enough and learned to appreciate old games (especially some abandonware like the Evil Dead video games), emulation and to "sail the high seas" of the net.

Armored Core VI gameplay demo:

Looks to be at the speed I'd be comfortable with, but...*sighs and braces self for the next round of idiots screeching OMG mecha DarkSouls!!!1111*

I've been following Starfield for ages and this kind of game is just what I want. I'm fine with some Bethesda wonkiness, these are complex games. So I'm a launch buyer too.

And I didn't hate 76, it was just kinda empty at launch (IMO), like who was I fighting scorched for? The game has dramatically improved over the years.

Even with my (VERY) mild monetary stability I wouldn't buy it on launch, but I used to be.

Anyway, here's a better game than Gollum :

For the record: No, amd isn't blocking the implementation of DLSS.

Nvidia, however, effectively is by black boxing everything.
