We never have been against politics here.

But if you see how this board went from calm stuff to down right shit because of a few posters, and a few mod crackdowns, it started to be what made the site today. Drastic stuff quickly made this hurt as of recently.

If people can be civil and don't go off trying to cause issues, then it would not happen but that is what caused this to happen

Gone from "Guys WE have a site now" to "YOU are welcome here if you behave also we really don't want politics and will experiment with ways to discourage it" in the blink of an eye. Its really depressing.

There's a hard lesson here about virtual communities: they aren't. A community doesn't go away when some nerd pushes a button.

"Are most of us" then. There are probably at least some people over on SV who are right-wing, but it'd still be entirely fair to characterize the site and it's userbase as left-wing. Similarly, if you were to place every active member here on the political spectrum and average the result, I'd be very surprised if this website wasn't to the right of the general population.

Everyone that has not left and still was apart of the PM are the ones trying to make sure it stays that way. We are adamant on trying to keep it that way, and are part of the reason we pushed against Zoe. You should know, you were apart of it
