That's only because the US and Russians have different aims, and the US is more capable. In fact, I'd say the US is worse for targeting funerals and weddings and the like, places with high concentrations of innocent people.
Basically, both are ugly things that are ultimately part and parcel of war. It happening doesn't make me hate the US or Russian government more than them going to war, this is what war looks like. It's ugly, civilians die. If you advocate for war, know that you are advocating for the deaths of tens of thousands of innocents. Look at it with clear eyes, and then you can say the war is needed.
When I say that Hamas needs to be eradicated, I know this means I think that killing tens of thousands of Gazan civilians is the lesser evil to them being in the thrall of a death cult for any longer, and just having more die slower. That's the only reason it's okay.
