Are you saying that the reason that Arab nations suck is because of alcohol bans? That’s pretty silly it’s a few reasons from inflexible religions and their culture being tribal so they fracture instead of being loyal to their state and oil merely props them up and is able to hide their faults.
Alcohol bans are overtly part of what you put as "inflexible religions".
They are however quite degenerate and this ban may be helping with that, as while Islam explicitly bans alcohol, there's a lot of nastier modern and less modern stuff that some of these countries abuse to hell and back, like captagon or khat. As in not just local underclass, but often the very militant zealots abuse these things too.

I Wikipedia Khat and it said the Saudis and UAE ban it. And it’s mostly used in Eastern Africa.

Saudis have banned use and growing of Khat in 1957, so historically they did use it, and it is still being smuggled in illegally.
Yemen is infamous for khat use and in the news new.
Traditionally, khat is used as a socialising drug as in Yemen, where khat-chewing is predominantly a male habit combined with conversation, hookah smoking, and tea drinking.[21] Khat is so popular in Yemen that its cultivation consumes much of the country's agricultural resources. An estimated 40% of Yemen's water supply goes towards irrigating it,[22] with production increasing by about 10% to 15% every year. One "daily bag" of khat requires an estimated 500 litres (130 US gal) of water to produce.[23] Water consumption is high and groundwater levels in the Sana'a basin are diminishing, so government officials have proposed relocating large portions of the population of the city to the Red Sea coastal areas.[21]

One reason for the widespread cultivation of khat in Yemen is the high income that it provides for farmers. Some studies done in 2001 estimated that the income from cultivating khat was about 2.5 million Yemeni rials per hectare, while fruits brought only 0.57 million rials per hectare. Between 1970 and 2000, the area on which khat was cultivated was estimated to have grown from 8,000 to 103,000 hectares.[24] In 2000, according to a World Bank estimate, khat accounted for 30% of Yemen's economy.[25]
An estimated 5 to 10 million people globally use khat on a daily basis.[47] It is grown principally by communities in the Horn of Africa and the Arabian peninsula, where khat-chewing has a long history as a social custom dating back thousands of years.[4]

The traditional form of khat chewing in Yemen involves only male users; khat chewing by females is less formal and less frequent. Researchers estimate about 70–80% of Yemenis between 16 and 50 years old chew khat, at least on occasion. Approximately 60–90% of male and 35% of female Yemenis chew khat daily.[47][25] Before Yemeni unification in 1990, khat chewing was largely confined to the north-west mountains of the country, where khat grows.[25] Yemenis spend an estimated 14.6 million man-hours per day chewing khat. Researchers have also estimated that families spend about 17% of their income on khat.[24]
North-west of Yemen, guess who's there...
If there was a country in Eastern Europe where alcohol use was 30% of the economy, it would replace Russia in *those* jokes effortlessly.
And then there's the jihadi's favorite drug i mentioned:

True but we were talking about Saudis and their alcohol thing. And you said they allowed other drugs. I checked and they don’t they have death penalty or life imprisonment for being involved with drugs.

Of course how often it’s done or if the law is respected I don’t know and I would not trust Saudi figures as they would lie to make themselves feel good. And a few years back a Saudi prince was caught smuggling fentanyl and other drugs. So I don’t know.

Saudis are trying to modernize to satisfy western allies, let's not forget.
These other drugs were only banned during Cold War or later, and are still widely used anyway.
Despite bans, they have massive use of those other drugs.
In one region where it was traditional, it's still about a third of whole population.

The figures don't make them look good, they make them look like a junkie nation.

I mean I believe it. I guess they do have a degenerate drug habit if 30 percent uses khat.

(((Barbarians!!!))) Targeting a Hospital with Heavy Caliber Sniper Rifles!

Such a thing can't be legal! Sniping poor hospital! 😭

And not just with the bullet, but casing too!
Guess we have something to add to Israeli inventions, sniper rifles that fire bullets together with their casings. How efficient, no part of the ammunition gets wasted...

Not going to lie, once had to show some not-so-firearm-fluent folks that "here, this is the bullet, this is the cartridge case. The bullet gets fired down one way, the cartridge case ejects out another way." And I'm not a firearms "expert" by any means.

the problem is a lot of people who are educated think that their degrees are a lot more fungable then they are.

Knowing a lot about underwater basket weaving or 18th century literature doesn't mean your know a lot about fire arms or make you an expert in engineering. Also the professional plumber probally knows more about pipes then you do.

But don't forget that dying your hair red/green/blue/pink/purple/rainbow instantly makes you an expert in international law. That's a universal truth and you know it.
