Hamas Launches Offensive Against Southern Israel

PBS is a "non profit" "charity" that is financed entirely by donations.
However, it is not democratic or open.
Its owners and controllers use it as they will.
Only massive donors (oligarchs) can influence it via personal meeting with PBS leadership.
this goes back to the illusion of impartiality.
True.

So I am crossposting from the Brazil thread.

Lula's discourse about Israel the other day.

Fuck the bastard couldn't he have kept quiet and minded his own, and by extension, our country business?

He's creating the reason for another regime change. Only this time will be actually valid unlike 1964 and 2022.

It's in English with Portuguese subtitles.

Are you denying that any war rapes happened?
I haven't seen any convincing source (as in Hamas and leftists don't count) showing otherwise.
Dude it’s PBS it’s controlled by your government.
So it's probably full of leftists and most of them hate Israel and simp for Arabs.

If you are going to simp for Americas government at least do it consistently. And if you think America is lying about the number then provide your own.
The article starts with "Gaza Health Ministry said".
So the rest can be treated almost as if it started with "A long time ago, in a galaxy far away".

So it's not American government, it's Hamas "government" lying and PBS spreading it, which is nothing new, it's the same people who claimed countless hospitals bombed for no reason at all, even when they hid weapons there and once even when they just fumbled a rocket launch and hit it themselves.
The US has a stupid contradictory policy towards Israel and Palestine giving aid to both sides in the war. I think that’s bad as that keeps the fighting going longer and more people die. I’d prefer not helping either but I can tolerate giving aid to one Israel is the better choice to end it quickly and definitely.

The hilarious thing about Palestinians is for all that they claim to be a Levantine people. Every Levantine and Arabian people hate them as outsiders and invaders.

As people have pointed out OBS isn't US Gov.
Outside of that, the article takes the Gaza Health Ministry at its word.
Which shows automatically bias against Israel.
I have seen so much footage and stuff from this conflict, rape by the Israeli military hasn't really been shown

He doesn't care and pretty sure remember he said so multiple times. As long as it done to him and doesn't feel the repercussions he won't change his mind.

Yeah, the whole ‘Israel can do no wrong crowd’ have no idea about the optics of this. Not to say that Palestine side is made of angels by any stretch.

I just hope that it helps break the stranglehold the Israel lobby has on the USA. That and the liberal Jews who have helped import the Middle East to the west coming to their senses. I don’t like foreign powers having influence over my nation and I sure as hell don’t like when any group gets put above criticism.

So what exactly did Israel do that justifies what ever the UN, Gaza, Hamas, and the Palestinians started?

Open a few history books written by Israelis,Palestinians and other from both the region surrounding it and outside and you will understand.
Telling you this a former pro-Zionist and a descendant of two Jewish families and someone who worked in Israel.

I've read a fair bit of history, and the answer seems to be:

"Defeated repeated attempts to exterminate them."

Egypt is taking building a wall to another level in anticipation of Palestinian refugees.
Are there even zombie apocalypse movies with this many layers of wall?

That is a BBW for sure.

So thick... and with layers... like an onion. They even started with the fence so the Gazans can see what a big beautiful wall is facing them... but still completely hiding the buffer zone and just as big and beautiful wall behind it... and then the smaller walls behind that one.

Egypt should consider creating some sort of 'wilding' project along this border area. Moats and canals with catchments for rainfall. Native arboreal life with water retaining capabilities ringed by thorny bushes and resilient cacti. And creating lots of shallow pools, quicksand and hidden mudflats along tributary channels for waterways that can be seeded with gravel (or surplus rubble) that can be used as habitats and nurseries for fishes which will attract water fowl and more wildlife. 🌴🐟🦆

Maybe mangrove style tidal flat ecosystems that can be populated with larger reptiles or peaceful, docile hippos? 🐊 🦛

While the Palestinians are supported by the general Egyptian population because they are their co-religionists, the Sisi presidency-regime doesn't enjoy the idea of Gazans joining the ranks of the MB. Sisi knows his regime is on thin ice every day this conflict goes on (which is lasting more than anyone expected) so...preventing is better than curing for him.
He knows that first he is fucked if the MB gains power again, then the rest of Egypt is fucked, be it the secular Sunni, Shia, Copt and anyone else because Israel may well march into Cairo/Alexandria or Sinai if they really want to be generous with a Wahabi-run or Salafi-run Egypt (THIS despite in Syria they would rather have a Wahabi or Salafi leadership but didn't get that thankfully).

It's a salt flat. I'm not sure mangrove will grow there you'd need at least a little bit of fertile soil
