The schools in America, and to a lesser-extent the UK, have gone fucking nuts and are indoctrinating our kids into being Communists or brainwashing them into thinking anything with a penis is evil by default.

Perfectly fine with transgender people but feel uncomfortable that they could perv on you in the bathroom (just because they've become a woman doesn't change their sexuality, for example), like if a male were using a female bathroom or a female using a male bathroom? "OMG, you transphobe!"
Perfectly fine with gay people but find 'gay culture', like where they literally wear assless chaps to bars or end up fucking in the streets during Pride Parades (which they can get away with compared to hetero couples -- hello there, privilege!) repugnant? "OMG, you homophobe!"
Critice a religion in anyway? "Islamophobe!"
Anything that isn't blind acceptance to being "diverse and tolerant", which aren't really diverse and tolerant, automatically labels you "an ist, a phobe, or an ism" in their eyes.
Hell, in an SB thread a month or two ago, I was accused of being homophobic because I didn't support Harley and Ivy doing the same thing they did in the comics, in the show! Especially since Ivy was happily with Kiteman and Harley was still fucked up from the Joker!

More importantly, there's a not unheard of rule for many (not all) drugs that a drugs most common side effect is the exact OPPOSITE of what its supposed to do.
IE, many antidepressants have depression as a side effect, and anti-ADHD medication can cause ADHD in people who are normal.
Its entirely posssible a "compliance" pill would turn a 1% of the population into contrarian sociopaths.

Yeah but as the article stated, Fordham University at the very least has made pledges to free speech like so many private universities have. I'm not sure where your from, but chances are it doesn't have quite as broad a free speech code I'm assuming. It's fine if your a Private University and you don't have free speech codes or pledges or promises or whatever but at least practicing what your preaching is an important facet of situations like that.

I couldn't agree more. Plus they shorten it to "POCs," which just seems weird. Like, referring to people as POCs just feels and sounds racist to me.
It's supposed to be the non racist thing, but to me it feels like reducing an entire chunk of the world, with vast diversity, into one generalized acronym so you can use them for political points seems RACIST AS FUCK.

I mean, it is true. My university is conservative enough that there was a fundraiser last year to raise money to donate to clinics that try to convince young couples not to abort.
There are tons of conservative universities in the US. Maranatha, Pensacola Christian, Bob Jones, Hillsdale, Patrick Henry, Liberty....

I find it ironic that calling black people (or half-black) "coloured" in the past was racist, but their calling themselves "people of colour" these days isn't.
