That's the point. If assimilation really worked there as advertised, it would be very easy to tell, as the latter would be impossible to tell from the French. Yet instead they are hard to tell from recent immigrants from the same places.

Paris is a city, clans usually if they are living together need more rural areas, cities are places where single famillies usually live. I don't most arabs living in Paris's neighborhoods are related to each other.
