This is just stupid. He's definitely consumed way too much hatefuel, but Husky is positively delusional if he thinks he'll admit he's wrong.

It's not about the destination but the journey. And there's no wrong or right. He already admitted there's no way he'll ever honestly consider anything to the contrary, much change his mind regardless of the evidence prevented which was the actual point of all of this of there was any point lol.

Getting him to admit he's racist repeatedly was fun and all but the constant pretzel twisting, deflections, Strawmen and semantic arguments to try and obfuscate how an obviously racist assumption totally wasn't, was a fascinating rabbit hole to go through.

If your threshold on believing, "black people in this picture of people combing through a home's rubble aren't looting," is only satisfied by having personally been there yourself to make sure they weren't, then yeah, you might in fact be racist.

That has little to do with corporate media.
If pattern recognition makes me racist, I'm a racist. But you can accuse people of being anything for any stupid reason. You're an antisemite.

Threadban Rule 2c & 2e: Don't call users pedos, and don't flame without evidence.
"I will believe black people are thieves unless I am personally there to check and make sure they aren't," is not any sort of sane pattern recognition.
I believe they are thieves because the situation is ridiculous. "My house has been mashed, lets rescue the sneakers first".
Why the FUCK do you think the average black person is THAT obsessed with footwear? That makes you sound racist. Lmao.
Nope, that's not how that works.
And you diddle children, and you fucked your mom.

They are in good condition, when most stuff is obviously destroyed. You take the stuff in good condition out of a wrecked house first. Its not that complicated.

And you diddle children, and you fucked your mom.

What's the point of living with a brain that can't come up with an argument better than the lowest possible ad hominem imaginable?

I posted this earlier, but the Washington Post had a photostream of the aftermath of the tornado(s). Lots of folks salvaging stuff.

If you look through that (and similar media I suppose) with a certain racial lens, it's certainly quite unfortunate. Especially when they want to spread their unassailable "pattern recognition" POV to others.

It does seem a little strange that you might see people rescuing shoes out of a wrecked house like that, but it might could maybe just be that that is simply what they are most concerned with. I know a guy at work who collects shoes like I collect guns, and if my house got wrecked, you can probably guess what I'd be digging out first, too.

That being said, you don't see me accusing him of being racist, do you? Personally I think you're violating forum rules by doing so, especially in light of the "evidence" you are attempting to back up this claim with. Lucky for you that I'm not a mod.

Shoes could've just been on top of the pile or easy to get out.

Photographers got there after they salvaged other more important stuff.

They decided their clothes and shoes were important in the short term.

The shoes are important to someone and having some would actually bring some morale improvement.

Like there's plenty of reasons. None of which require them to be looters, or have stupid priorities.

If it was something you cared about, it wouldn't be stupid to you.

The photostream actually had a picture of someone carrying a rifle and pistol out of the wreckage of his trailer, another one was carrying two and a half cases of what looked like cooking oil. Literally all of them just seemed like mounds of garbage on scarred foundations.

Actually I later tempered my opinion on him to simply holding an unassailable racist assumption (in this case).

Probably because if he said he wasn't, you'd still say he was. So if you're going to make an accusation, I suggest you bring receipts. As it is, several pages of this thread read like a Leftist struggle session.

So if someone said, "Any time I see Native Americans by the wreckage of a building, I assume they're looters," you'd be a-OK with that, right?

For consistencies sake?

If Native Americans had spent the past few years- really the past two decades to various degrees- throwing riots, stealing and looting on a massive scale and not only getting away with it but getting excused for it by the MSM and activist judges, I'd surprised if people didn't start to suspect such things.

"Start to Suspect" is the equivalent to "Assume they are looters based on race regardless of any evidence that can be put forward to the contrary"?
