Most of the Board are either Conservative or care more for the bottom line than politics. So they likely put pressure on him.

Mannerbund/secret society sort of stuff will require decades of planning, and relentless internal discipline. That isn't to say it can not be done. But the sort of secret fraternities your talking about take a long time to be established and can be destroyed in an hour.

Huh, looking at that... I think, personally, I'm definitely in the center-right area of the chart somewhere. Maybe somewhere around the meeting point of Conservative, Laissez Faire, and Populist?
 
I am towards the upper right blue area. Probrably around nationalism
 
I'm not sure I entirely trust that chart's positioning. Totalitarians are more equality-minded than fascists? Liberals and populists are equal in their positioning towards equality? Socialism is closer to equality than communism? Those don't make sense to me.
 
No, and they never did beyond being fiscal conservative in the sense they like low taxes and the Government failing to enforce Anti-Trust law. If you're a Social Conservative, they never stood for you and never will; Republicans/Conservatives/etc need to return to Theodore Roosevelt's Trust Busting stance, because that's the only way you're going to get the policies you like. If you like decent working conditions and American industry, you still need to take the Populist stance because these Corporations have no loyalty or desire to meet such needs, and will gladly sell themselves out to national enemies for a quick dollar.

Thing is, as some others have said before, there's not much to run away to or places that may actually go against all these brands of increased centralisation and ironically-supporting-megacorps

Even nations that aren't First World are at risk, you can have Champagne Socialism even without a majority population that's not living in slums, hell countries like mine have colleges with all those non-STEM courses and subjects and even had a professor going on and on about capitalism being evil, hell two of my classmates even LARPED as ANTIFA members and one showed me vids of them firebombing SWAT and said that was okay because they're fireproof and shit

We are at the end of the republic roughly the brothers Grachi period with the first Grachi brother done. Not the end of the empire, there will be a period of roughly 80 years of bullshit and fuckery, there will be civil war and blood shed but when it is over modernity will die and tradition will come back in force.

This is a time of cults, political violence and bullshit it will suck but Tradition will win, its just that people have to try everything else first before going back to it.
