A few things first off Romans were right 99% of the time about barbarians. Second there is a difference between Nazis and everyone else. Nazis dehumanizing Jews was solely because of race from the adults to the infant in the crib they were killed not for their actions or beliefs but for being born to a specific group. This is different from other groups where the dehumanization only happens after the other group actually did something. Communists are atheists and mass murderers who export their vile ideology and force others to become godless atheists by threat of death. So I misread the article, sorry. The point is, as @Megadeath pointed out, these types of comments are not something your typical well-adjusted human writes in a “to-do” list. By itself, it raises eyebrows, but when coupled with participating in the riot plus other items one normally does not take to the Capitol (unless one wants a very thorough question and answer session with the USCP, not to mention standing out like a very sore thumb), it raises a lot of questions.

Besides, how many people do you actually know who do “battle drills” and build trenches and bunkers on weekends for fun, who aren’t in the National Guard or the reserves?

The Lego thing is a parenthetical statement that’s being taken out of context in the whole indictment.

Doesn't even have to be that... Some people are Survivalists. Some people are re-enactors or playing soldier. Some people are Doomsday Preppers.
