Breaking News January 6th Stop the Steal Rally & Capitol Breaching/Storming

If the right were able to stage "demonstrations" and "protests" to the same scale as the BLM and antifa, I doubt that officer would have been acquitted

It's no longer the rule of law out there people. Just mob justice, kangaroo courts, and big bag of corruption and nepotism.

The Good Times have created too many weak men, who will soon herald the Hard Times.
Its not even just "demonstrations and protests". Its "demonstrations and protests by the right people". Preferably diverse, attached to a highly emotional leftist cause (like muh racial justice), and with DNC connected lawyers and sympathy of DNC media. If it was right wingers, they would have no hesitation in throwing few thousands of them into prison while calling them white supremacist domestic terrorists if they did half the shit Antifa did over the last year.

Exactly. The right is being lorded over with an iron fist, while the left gets to riot, burn and loot and face no consequences.

My issue is the people thinking the cop was in the wrong....
How?
I get there wasn't people up in arms but still

He shot an unarmed women that was busy crawling through a barricade. She posed no threat to him (at that moment, anyway) and was largely incapable of making any sort of offensive move, and the officer was guarding some empty offices.

That doesn't sound like a justified shoot to me, at least not without a better explanation from the police (which I haven't seen). And given the left has previously decided that actively fighting the police and grabbing a weapon from them is not good grounds to employ lethal force, it's very strange they're so silent.

She was trying to crawl into the barricaded capital building.
There was a large group of people trying to get in, and he was fearing for his life.

And if an Officer "feared for his life," and shot a BLM supporter in the same scenario, his name would be all over the news and he'd be in jail.

Typically shooting unarmed protesters is not a good thing.

Especially when we take into consideration that it was just recently leaked that capitol police were ordered to let those protesters inside.

This woman got set up by the powers that be to get murdered by the police, and now the officer is not only getting away with it, but is getting praise from the left.

If you are trying to get into a barricaded place and get shot.
It is your fault.

That is what I am getting at.

And my point is that the left believes that when it's a right winger being killed, but not when it's a left winger.

Typically I am against shooting unarmed protesters, even if they are trying to break down barricades. They weren't armed. They were just angry people who watched the left do this shit for 6 months and get away with it. They do it and get shot.

It's not right.

If someone crawling toward you and unable to take any action to harm you is enough to make you fear for your life, you're not fit to be a police officer.

That is a valid standard of use of force... in serious situations. Rioters storming an airbase full of expensive jets perhaps. Or fucking with some non western government who doesn't fuck around in general.

Meanwhile as far as feds in USA go:

Somehow those fuckers, not just trying to get through a barricade but destroying it with power tools in an organized manner, for some reason weren't doing it under fire.
It does look a lot like a double standard.

If they were wearing maga hats they'd be dead and the left would be cheering it on.

So, I can't point out that she was also in the wrong and trying to claim the cop had any other thing going on besides his job is asinine.
If you charged him for that, and he got convicted it would make justified shootings viable to charge cops...

"He was just doing his job!"

Every gun grabber, every fed, every swamp critter is "just doing their job." I have nothing against grifting the system if you can, but if you side with the system against your own people because they cut you a paycheck, you're scum.

"But muh precedent" is a tired excuse by neocons for picking the wrong side. Precedent is directional.

I get it looks like that, but one has to remember, it is the capital building, and people are trying to get over and past a barricaded door...
It is the capital building. I am pretty sure the ROE there is A LOT diffrent then normal situations...

It is almost like every person is thier own unique person....
And everyone reacts diffrently

Ok, @Zachowon . we are not disagreeing with you that what the person in question did was illegal or not.
Our point is the response to criminal acts committed people of different political allegiances is very, very disproportion and strongly based on whether they are left or right wing.
Right wingers can be hanged, drawn, and quartered and the media and the left would still perceive it as justice.
Harm a cell of a left winger and you'll be lynched before dawn.

See how the media describes her (Dead MAGA mobster) and how they focus on her relationship to distract people from the truth?

I'm cool with still disagreeing with @Zachowon about the actions of that Capitol cop. That man is a coward who shot an unarmed woman. Any argument about them swarming or whatever goes right out the window when you see the aftermath, in which all those police are indeed swarmed with people, who, while very upset, are apparently not considered a threat by any of the police officers there, who are instead shouting at them to back off so they can try to save the woman who was just shot by one of their own.

I get thay, I am just tired of people thinking he should be charged with murder

In that situation, you don't know if the people swarming you are unarmed...
