United States Johnny Depp wins defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
there will be tons of documentaries and probably movies about this.

I didn't follow the trial pretty much at all. Had no interest in it.

I watched the highlights posted earlier and holy shit, it was literally like a movie. That lawyer was extremely prepared, extremely good, and let Amber dig her own traps and then pounced at just the right times. If this was a movie I might have even said "there's no way, this is just too scripted, shit like this only happens on TV," but it was real. This was literally like some court drama on TV.

It was impressive. And now I see why people were so entertained by this, because that was one HELL of a smackdown.

This will be remembered for a long time just for the entertainment value. This will absolutely be milked with movies and documentaries.
I foresee a new source of entertainment through court cases while commentary is provided.

Most court cases are so boring though. I can't think of anything more boring that court.

But this was highly entertaining. I find it an exception to the norm. That's part of why I think it will stand out for quite some time.

This isn't how court is, normally. This is how fictional TV shows about court are. Not real court.

It was 100% a movie. There were literal surprise witnesses. That's not supposed to happen. It's just a bullshit law and order thing, all evidence known has to be disclosed to the other side, including witnesses. But because it was so viral, people heard about the story, and contacted Depp's team during the trial in order to tell about times Amber Heard lied, including a former TMZ employee and some rando guy who worked at a place called the Trailer Palace. This is an exception, allowed for rebuttal purposes.

There's so much good shit to watch, also. Not just Heard getting eviscerated on the stand. But the TMZ employee basically owning Elaine's soul on the stand, for example:

There's just so much good stuff to watch.

Yeah, she really shit the bed on this one.

But yeah, they actually brought up #AmberTurd three times during the trial. It was just hilarious.

Even the expert witnesses were funny. Johnny had some old Hollywood dealmaker that might have well claimed that he told Jesus to wait three days in the tomb. Guy did fucking everything, and so was great for damages and hilarious to listen too.

Heard got caught using the same picture (the wine on the floor) for two separate occasions. I mean, how does your law team let that happen? Absolutely an entertaining watch. Here's a few more highlights:

There's also a deposition witness vaping then driving off:

Sort of surprised he won, Ive personally had the misfortune of dating psychotic women like that in the past.
You wouldn't be if you watched some of the trial highlights.

You've gotta be at least a somewhat good liar. She got caught red handed in several.

Actually, I think she's a decent liar, but Johnny's legal team were fucking rock stars and busted her lies apart. If Johnny has a less competent legal team, he probably wouldn't have won.

Here it is:

Note, the time stamp means it should start at 2:57:00, right when he begins speaking. That's when he goes into his resume.

Guy isn't the funniest during this part, but his credentials are crazy. He get's funnier on cross though.
