I used to think they were just being hyperbolic. now between the going after kids and all the dog-pilled stuff I have to admit that the meme of all the bad things that would happen if Gay marriage is legalized turned out to be pretty accurate. somehow. still not fully sure how WW3 connects to that and how they were psychic. but they called it.
The issue was was most merely argued it on religious\moral grounds, rather than the political ground - that the LGBT movement, contrary to what it paints itself as, is not just a bunch of otherwise perfectly average people who happen to be "born that way" that will just leave everyone to "live happily ever after" if they get that one thing, but a movement driven by a bunch of very cheeky far left activists, which happens to be a very popular thing to be in that minority but not just there, pursuing a very ambitious and radical plan, of which gay marriage was just one of the points on a very long list.

There are normal people who are gay/Bi/lesbian than straight, and then there are the, to use old cultural terminology, "mincing gays" which pretty much have become the face of the Rainbow Tumour. The latter are the ones who have gone mainstream.
And the "non-binary" folks I've seen? 90% of the time they're just ugly women, and 10% they're basically gay men in denial.
Unfortunately, when people think Rainbow Tumour, they don't think of the "normal but different orientation" people as a first thought; they automatically think of "fucking grooming weirdos" and "everything must be gay!" nutjobs.
Sadly enough, a lot of older gay men and women have said that if they'd have known what their campaigning would've resulted in thirty or forty years or so down the line, they'd have put down their picket signs and lived out their lives quietly somewhere. Even they're disgusted, and the fact that many want to retro-group back into just the LGB community than the LGBTQIA+Kitchen Sink community kinda says it all.

'Gay marriage' was only the surface issue. The deeper matter was 'who gets to be the moral authority? Who gets to tell culture and society what is morally right and wrong?'
And now that sex pests have seized that authority, you get to see what happens when it's godless degenerates, rather than imperfect Christians, who set the rules.
There are a lot of agnostic and atheists over the last ten years who've had some serious regrets over working to force Christianity out of the cultural center of America and the West, at this point including Richard Dawkins, the writer of 'The God Delusion.'
People are starting to realize what a profound epithet 'godless heathen' really is.

As far as the US is concerned, "nobody in particular". As was the point of separation of church and state, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of association, and freedom of religion. The system was designed from the start to make "the church" fractious and impotent so that it couldn't fuck things up like it did back in Europe.
False dichotomy, there were other secular groups trying to grab the wheel. The one that's "winning" spent decades prior setting up the opportunity and preparing to take advantage of it, and not even a generation into going public with it is habitually mocked by the youth.
Their insanity is not, and by all appearances never will be, accepted by the masses. They just have a lot of powers to make it appear to be so due to media consolidation, which the Internet has pretty thoroughly ruined even with most of its major powers on their side.
Much as they came to realize the problems with "Papist", I'd say. Total refusal to define a moral code is typical hedonistic meltdown of elites, what we see today is little different in nature from the indulgence controversies or the Pornocracy. It's demonstrably worse when you have a defined group with such authority because you strip the common man of standing to call them out on abusing it.

1. they literally made child porn a misdemeanor in some places. because "otherwise parent's can't report crimes against children without getting arrested". why they couldn't just make an exemption for presenting evidence to the cops I don't know.
2. It is commiefornia. they literally passed a law there to make it legally child abuse for a parent to refuse to castrate their underaged child if the school says they are trans. and then the state takes the children to foster care and castrates them for you.
3. there are apparently DETAILS. for example, currently in california there is an exemption for the sex offender registry if you purchase a child for sex, if the age gap is 10 years or less between abuser and child. so if you are 21 and purchase a 10 year old that is sex offender registry. but if you are 21 and purchase a 12 year old that falls into the gap range and you are not a registered sex offender.
