Being an 'Intellectual' has nothing directly to do with intelligence, and everything to do with what one's profession/social class is.

An intellectual is someone who's entire job is to ponder and discuss ideas, but they personally have no direct ability to put those ideas into effect, or accountability for what happens when people try.

An Engineer is not an Intellectual.

A professor of Engineering is probably not an Intellectual.

A professor of sociology is absolutely an intellectual.


Another way of putting it, is that an 'intellectual' is someone who is purely 'paid to think and share those thoughts.' They are found almost exclusively in academia and political think-tanks. A fair number of people start out as such, then branch out into politics, and this social class tends to have ties to a lot of other groups (lawyers, financiers, etc), as well as overlaps.

In the modern day, being able to parrot the Accepted Wisdom of Current Year can be enough to get categorized as an Intellectual in good standing.

Intellectuals are also ones who tend to spread shit like communism in academia and schooling, which is ironic since communist regimes are typically the first ones to basically mass murder/purge them all. :ROFLMAO:

In this day and age, their parroting the "acceptable narratives", such as "being White is bad" while they themselves are Whiter than chalk, are "chickens for KFC!" and "queers for Palestine!" situations.

For example, women in the 1970s were encouraged to divorce and have it all. Problem is, kids are a real handful.

So, drug them to keep them quiet, making up fake medical problems. Since this was done mostly to boys feminists saw it as a way to give girls an advantage. This started pretty much in the late 1980s.

It is no coincidence that school mass shooters were on those sort of drugs. They also opened the way for the insanity we have today, never saying "no" to the demographic pushing the craziness. That's all it would have taken back then.

The next step, now that everything is fluid and about "how you identify," is child sex. And YOU will be the irrational bigot if you are against it. When transsexualism was accepted the door was blasted open.

The boys were (and in many places still are) drugged because they weren't girls.

Meaning that unlike the girls, the average boy has difficulties with sitting still for 8 hours and learning via rote memorization (which of course is the optimal way in which most girl learn), in short, the boys and their parents were told they have ADD, ADHD, and so on, and needed to be drugged. IE needed to be more like their female classmates.

Very rarely was or is it ever taken into consideration that on average, boys are more effectively educated by hands on learning and via physical activity.

In short, the problem was/is that boys aren't girls, and the very feminist educators disliked that, therefore their solution was to drug the boys in an effort to make them more like girls.

Obviously, it didn't/doesn't really work, but combined with the various academic benefits for girls only, and the misandrist bias in most educators, girls and young women quickly surpassed the majority of boys and young men in education.

That itself has had further consequences for marriage and dating, as the average western women prefers to "date up", ie date someone more educated and on a higher socioeconomic level than themselves, so the average woman has seen the number of "acceptable" (in their eyes) male partners shrink considerably.

Which has led to an increasing number of single men with very little to no chance of finding a life partner.

That in turn, as men have begun to realize how fucked they are over the last couple decades, has led to men increasing dropping out of the workforce. Why work hard when you'll never be able to own a home or have a family? Millions of men in the United States have vanished from the workforce, many to never return. Something like 10% of young men (as apposed to the 2% to 5% peaks in the 90s) have left the workforce, not unemployed mind you, thats also a large number, but unemployed young men are looking for work, but entirely gone.

In short, the misandrist ideology of feminism has fucked up like 3 generations of boys and men in the west, and conveniently now get to use these people they screwed up as boogie men to terrify the plebs.

In the 1970s, Boomers were, at oldest, in their early 20s. Those women encouraged to get divorces in that period, GI and Silent Generation mainly, and sure, maybe some Boomers. This is also tied to the Sexual Revolution, it wasn't Boomers who originated the ideas, published, taught, or spread them, that was the generation that raised them and even earlier. As I've noted before the man most responsible for the Sexual Revolution, Kinsey, was born in the late 19th century.

Again, this wasn't pushed by Boomers, by the 1980s Boomers were in their 30s and while they as parents did go along with what the "experts" were telling them, the experts were elite psychologists who were in their 50s+, again, placing them in the GI and Silent generations. Did some Boomer teachers and the like push the ideas too? Certainly, but they didn't originate those ideas and had no way of knowing the experts of the time were wrong.

The GI and Silent generations, within the intelligentsia at least, who it just so happens had some odd ideas about human sexuality and eugenics. It is my firm belief that the majority of these problems, started and continue today with Feminism, and Feminism was around before the Boomers had much political agency, so I'd agree with you on where (and when) these ideas first gained traction.

Not to say Boomers are blameless in our modern socioeconomic situation. Their generation had and still has a real "I got mine, fuck everyone else haha" attitude, and they definitely should have bowed out of major political positions a couple of decades ago.
