This is, like it took something like a fucking century to get to where contraceptives for women didn't leave something like 3% of women who took it sterile and another 3 percent who abused it likewise overtime..And it still fucks with their hormones bad enough prodigious use can cause fertility issues.

Any 'conservative' who has one-night stands is a hypocrite who's just pretending to be 'based' to get cred.
This pill likely destroys male fertility over the long term, and is absolutely about trying to cause even more depopulation.
Though frankly, any guy stupid enough to go for this pill over a condom, or just not having sex with anyone but their SO, doesn't have much sympathy from me.

I think the issue everyone is complaining about here isn't that this exists, from a purely technological view, it's an impressive breakthrough and there's no reasonable objections to consensually using it, but that it could very easily be abused by some assholes contaminating water supplies.
The problem isn't technology, the problem isn't science the problem is the people who are in charge.
If your honestly against climate change then what you do is you use nuclear energy thorium if your worried about radiation.
If your honestly worried about over population and resource depletion then you pour resources into space travel. Astroid mining would provide so many resources its not even funny and the greater solar system is fucking huge.
