Male birth control pill - The end of humanity

Are you sure? Some polyamorous people are happy, no?

And some heroin addicts are happy right now. Just because it provides pleasure, even some form of happiness in the short run, doesn't mean it will provide fulfillment or satisfaction in the long run.

Sadly, not all marriages last a lifetime, but there are many couples who grow old together.

I'm not aware of any 'polyamorous' types who manage something like that, and it's not exactly common among the polygamous either.

The problem is, though, that I'm most of all attracted to ovulating women. Once my wife will stop ovulating, I will have to seek more and more pleasure elsewhere.

Everyone is more attracted to ovulating women. Scads of studies have established this and it's pretty common sense to boot. Your biology has a set goal for sex and ovulation is pretty key to that goal.

Do you have no sense of commitment? Do you not care for her emotionally? Did you promise her nothing when you married?

I'm not married yet, and I will still have sex with her after menopause, but I'll also be seeking pleasure elsewhere, something that she will be entitled to do so as well. There will be no hurt feelings because it will be crystal-clear from the very beginning that this is an open marriage (and, before that, an open relationship) for both parties.

TBF, though, my preference for ovulating and potentially ovulating women also extends to age. I'm much less attracted to women who are post-menopausal.

...So you're just like basically every other man, and find youth and fertility physically attractive.

Yes, there will be hurt feelings. Humans are hard-wired to want faithfulness from their spouse, and even walking into promiscuity with eyes open will not change that. Mitigate it, perhaps, but not remove it.

Most humans are hard-wired to want this. Not all of them. And humans also have a desire to engage in polyamory in a lot of cases since otherwise there wouldn't be so much cheating even when it's extremely socially stigmatized.

Your biological impulses neither have total control over you, nor recognize the difference between a healthy long-term committed and exclusive relationship, and bumping uglies with a loose woman or prostitute.

Your heart and soul, however, can very much tell the difference.

Any 'conservative' who has one-night stands is a hypocrite who's just pretending to be 'based' to get cred.

This pill likely destroys male fertility over the long term, and is absolutely about trying to cause even more depopulation.

Though frankly, any guy stupid enough to go for this pill over a condom, or just not having sex with anyone but their SO, doesn't have much sympathy from me.
Well I guess I ain't a conservative.
I was trying to sleep with people. I happend to get lucky enough to lose my virginity to my fiancé.

I guess I should just consider myself right wing and not conservative..

I think there could be some good uses for this pill. Preventing unwanted children for those college kids that sleep around way to much kr from high schoolers who sleep around way to much. It prevents teen pregnancies even more so.

I honestly don't care anymore. The further we succeed with tech the more the right will scream because the future changes things and makes everything possible, as far as humanly possible that is
