Looks like the 160 episodes of Marvel Netflix content will actually be leaving the platform of Netflix on March 1st, 2022.
Marvel's 'The Defenders' Shows Leaving Netflix on March 1st
Still unknown as to where it'll end up but probably some combination of Hulu and DisneyPlus since the latter doesn't like violent things on its service in the United States and as a bonus you can get people to pay for two services instead of just one.
Anyone been watching that Moon Knight series?
I heard it was released a few weeks ago, read the positive reviews, then completely forgot about it like an hour later so I didn't see any of it until this last weekend when a youngling asked me to watch it with them. And having watched it, it's.... pretty good.
Only saw the first three episodes (as only three episodes have been released) but it's fun and entertaining and I like all of the characters so far. There's some plot points that bother me but it's not a big issue yet. I like the fresh and original concepts this series is bringing to the MCU with Moon Knight's clear mental issues and the dynamics and themes interweaving stuff like horror and mythology and adventure and spy stuff altogether in a superhero TV series. Very neat and different.
But like I said before, plot issues... I feel like I'm seeing one of them come in already due to predictability.
Never trust Hathor. Even... no I mean Especially if she wants to bang you. If there's one thing Stargate taught me.
That is how Moon Knight has always beenmy issue with moon knight is that none of the characters are likable. Marc is a cringy edge lord dummy, Steven is a judgmental weakling, and the gods for being all knowing are absolutely blind. The MCU didn't used to be so reliant on plot induced stupidity. (But it's gotten bad since endgame) honestly, I think the films are making the same mistakes the comics are, insane power creep, bizarre plots, and unlikable characters. It's becoming mixed. For every Shang-chi we get an eternals, for every Hawkeye, we get a moon knight
That is how Moon Knight has always been
I can see why it never took off then. He's a crappy rip off of batman.
It was all dependent on which personalty was in charge with how he acted.Which is why they should have leaned into the drug-addicted nutbag that fights crime while trying to figure out who owes him money and tricking Spiderman into providing him with ketamine. Yes, it's a goofy internet meme and runs the risk of ripping off Deadpool rather than Batman, but at least it would have made Moon Knight memorable.
