China Massive influx of Chinese apologia and shilling amidst Covid-19

People point out that communism tend to collapse or stagnate economically, and sure, that's the case. The thing is that modern China is closer to economic fascism (corporatism), than to "communism", regardless of the red flag used.

Yeah, they're also pretty much the new Nazi's what with a combination of their own brand of nationalism and a tendency to do ethnic purges of guys like Ugyurs

Honestly, I'm in the end more against Centralized-Command-Economies as a whole

I feel slightly sympathetic to Dengism and modern Communist Party of China out of a very simple reason: they pretend to be maoists, but pretty much buried the monster known as orthodox maoism. Now, if they could bury red flags and become right-wing (or neoliberal center-left/center-right) state, that would be even nicer, but world is not ideal.

Ah, state capitalism. The last refuge of the communist when a socialist/communist state fails yet again.

That’s still a very centralized command economy, or simply put too much government interference

Statism includes Fascism and Socialism/Communism

Even if China were no longer “Socialist” it’s got too much big government involvement, especially in corporations

China knew about human-to-human transmission almost from the very beginning. They lied and covered it all up.

What the fuck is this? Did they install these to keep people from leaving their apartments? They look like chicken cages. What the fuck?

No wonder why they need troll armies and why they infiltrate moderation teams on forums to shore up their geopolitical position.

The CCP are a bunch of fucking ghouls.

The whole world is watching!

We have known they know this and about all of this from people leaking it in China. Nothing new from the CCP

You have a very good point there
I myself am not surprised by what the CCP can get up to when I see governments fucking up but there's always someone who doesn't have the internet at their fingertips to learn about it and just let their local news tell it to them or they just don't care too much about the outside world.

I think that people severely underestimate how decentralized the Party is, even under Xi. It's very probable that the central gov was simply not informed at first, and early attempts at cover-up were done by local police.

It's central administration that deals with national censorship and propaganda, and often they would censor also local fuck-ups, but as far as I know, and I know a few people who study in the PRC, local authority is responsible for such "details" of the lockdown as steel bars or lack of steel bars, or events like welding doors to apartments. Usually this excessive stuff was done when people from the local People's Committee (not sure that's good translation) thought that somebody is from the Hubei Province. Basically, regional racis... ekhm... provincionalism?

I'm not sure that my sources are reliable, but as far as I know, central authority is not always amused.

Sometimes (rarely) police officers from one province can even beat police officers from other province, sic, as their orders may be contradictory: Police, public clash as border reopens between Hubei and Jiangxi provinces

Dispute on bridge between Huangmei and Jiujiang that saw police vans overturned, apparently started because of confusion over jurisdictions

(...)

Chinese police officers from two different forces clashed with each other and members of the public on Friday in a dispute over the reopening of a provincial border, following weeks of lockdown (...)

You must understand that the People's Republic, even under Xi, operate according to principles of one-party Democratic Centralism. This means censorship of public info and united front to outsiders, but many, many, many hidden discussions and political games behind closed doors.

China is running literal concentration camps in Xinjiang. Someone flew a DJI drone over one and picked up this:

This is the true face of the CCP. This is what people are supporting when they kiss China's ass.

I doubt any of those who do care. This isn't anything new for the CCP; not to anyone who's been paying attention.

They can have thousands of Gulags abroad and Lefties will still support em or just brand em fascists later on to stop the idea that Socialism leads to crazy totalitarianism

I was watching Tim Pool on JRE right now and he brought up how Chinese trolls are intentionally being used to slow the response of the Covid virus in Taiwan (among other countries such as Spain and Italy) and decided to Google (and DuckDuckGo) it. The first page of results is almost a month by month account of Chinese 50 Cent Bullshit.

First I heard about this Milk-Tea War between Thai and Chinese netizens though. 🧐
