Don’t forget the big government loving business, because frankly it’s not just in a “free market” that one can attain huge amounts of power

I may not have read Atlas Shrugged, but it seems many miss how Galt’s Gulch from what I know, ONLY included the type of businessmen who make their wealth without resorting to Crony Capitalism and other horrible corrupt practices. The “aristocracy of pull” apparently needs a Big Government to really get around the competition.
Im am now worried about the company I keep here

Wasn't it Lenin who said we would sell them the rope to hang us?
True but what people miss is there is aa certain nihilism at play. Also the wealthy are at risk but also valued in any revolution and having leverage, ANY leverage is worth risk for the right mercantile mind

Didn't several banks already refuse bussines to gun merchants?
I seem to recall that Obama was pushing for that.

and that's a really bad thing, banking services should never ever be politized.
Welcome to the soft power era, soon they will be able to unperson you for wrongthink without even needing to go to courts. In shiny bright future shitlibs have envisioned doxxed wrongthinkers, will get kicked out of work, refused bank service, cleared out of internet, zoned out of any inhabitable area and perhaps even forcefuly hospitalized for bs personal disorder. All soft power coercion, no government jackboots needed.

We need to be real thankful for their lack of self control, loyalty, and lack of restraint.

If we were dealing with people who were subtle, and semi reasonable this would be an unstoppable police state. However we thankfully arnt and they will gleefully purge their own and make more and more enemies where none need existed until their either out of power if their lucky or murdered by an angry mob if their not.

Even so, they will cause a lot of suffering and damage before they are brought to justice. If they are ever.

Honestly, I believe many will get away with things, they’ll either remain rich but not exactly increasing in wealth and/or position or possibly lamenting on how it’s hard to get a job when your degree and desired job is considered useless or defeated by Independent Youtubers’ presence.....Twitter feeds your ego not your stomach

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.

Why travel bloggers decide to go to unfriendly places to Westerners like Iran for doing something the wrong way that they used to do at home is beyond me. Not only did they have a drone with them with no license as the official reason for an arrest, they were found camping near a military site.

Normally Id trash Iran on this one but every country arrests people for getting to close to military bases, expecially foregnors.

The drone....makes it look even worse...so yeah....

Iran has every reason to suspect espionage and arrest on such.

These businesses are rather stubborn when it comes to continuing to stay alive in-spite of repeated failure

woke activist types represent at most 8% of the country.

That's a market of about 24 million rounding down, now don't get me wrong 24 million is a decent market.

But look at how many papers, web channals, blogs, news shows and other media are targeting them, quite simply put theres too much compitition for a market share that is in all likely hood probally shrinking.

The current culling is pretty much envitable.

It kinda helps to be running off your previous successes, but even compared to entertainment, people will only read News so long as its up-to-date

And then the MSMs dare act surprised when they have less and less watchers.

You know MSM I think would be having to deal with how expensive all their efforts are compared to the youtubers and other newcomers, alongside them not actually being so in touch with the crowd

I think it’s called “Cultural Inertia”? Things aren’t on the same You Like/Dislike X therefore You Are Y sorts of things people may have once been more or less brainwashed by the fictional narratives they were used to
