It's like Jack wants to give Congress more ammo for when he is called into testify about hisnplatform's actions.
Dorsey is incredibly foolish. Not stupid, that's an intelligence thing. He lacks wisdom of any sort. Even Zuckerburg has taken actions to insulate his ass, but Dorsey has gone all in for a political faction that already hates his guts no matter what he does. He is going to lose everything. The only question if it's to the vengeful legal ax of the Right or the quasi-nationalization of the Left.

I don't actually have any data to back this up (beyond my personal experience), but my assumption is that even at that young of an age, if the kid has any access to the internet at all, they probably already know way more than they should about sex. Therefor there's an argument to be made, I feel, that providing sex education for kindergartners is an attempt at damage control; in that they already know about sex, so best to try and provide context to what they've learned, and try to make sure they don't assume that the real world works under porn logic.
Or... we could just... not be unbelievably shitty parents and not give kids unsupervised access to the internet.

Speaking as someone with amazing parents who took their job seriously, I still managed to find my way to the less savory parts of the internet, despite their best efforts. And that was back when finding anything on the internet was difficult; before Google was even a thing. These days? Good luck. Short of locking one's kid in a giant hamster ball until they turn 18, or living like the Amish, I just don't see any way a parent could stop them from getting to the porn.

Apparently not seriously enough.

Have you heard of these things called libraries? I still have the printouts I made of erotic Salor Moon doujinshis back in Junior High. Also, even parents have to sleep eventually; I had more than a few after-midnight fapping sessions, once I'd made sure the computer was covered in a blanket so as to muffle the sound of the dial-up modem.

Seriously; do not underestimate what a child is capable of. They are not stupid, and oftentimes can come up with solutions for problems we as adults would never consider.

I found my first introduction to fanservicey superheroine comics in my school library....I don’t think they look through every single page or notice how there’s a catgirl in a bikini fighting aliens

We’re a religious roman-catholic all-boys private school mind you

Better also watch them when they go to the bookstore....I saw Witchblade and Grimm Fairy Tales before I hit puberty on Powerbooks....yeah I couldn’t obviously buy it

Point is, you’d need extra supervision or be watching them when they are using it
