Have you heard of these things called libraries? I still have the printouts I made of erotic Salor Moon doujinshis back in Junior High. Also, even parents have to sleep eventually; I had more than a few after-midnight fapping sessions, once I'd made sure the computer was covered in a blanket so as to muffle the sound of the dial-up modem.

Seriously; do not underestimate what a child is capable of. They are not stupid, and oftentimes can come up with solutions for problems we as adults would never consider.
I found my first introduction to fanservicey superheroine comics in my school library....I don’t think they look through every single page or notice how there’s a catgirl in a bikini fighting aliens

We’re a religious roman-catholic all-boys private school mind you

Better also watch them when they go to the bookstore....I saw Witchblade and Grimm Fairy Tales before I hit puberty on Powerbooks....yeah I couldn’t obviously buy it

Point is, you’d need extra supervision or be watching them when they are using it
Obviously he is going to say Homeschool, and use a laptop or an office and lock them up when not needed.

Obviously they did not try hard enough. Should heave deadbolted and child proofed the locks

Honestly, sounds like in a way, both parent and child have a lot to learn from one another

Problem solving skills or improvisation for example

Kid gets increasingly eager to learn and actually applies stuff that’s surprisingly out on the internet, like how to pick a lock or spy on people

What they should have done was handcuffed me to the bed-frame at night; but even that probably would have done little more than slow me down. I had, and still have, a passion for the internet; it wasn't just about the porn. Only about 70, maybe 75%.
Lex Luthor over here going to engineer an internet connection out of a towel and a spool of copper wire.

Have no internet in the house, home school, only have educational books. Have a storage unit miles away where you go and use the internet if you are a parent

Like I said; if you're not willing to go full overbearing parent, it's probably not going to work. And at that point, your kid is probably going to have other problems when they grow up; or rather, don't grow up, merely older.

"Books are the internet"

You've completely lost track of what we're talking about.
What I am saying is what ways one could make sure they can not access the internet...
All your methods Terthna has proven one can get past...

No, none of my methods Terntha has proven one can get past

"If you dont have unsupervised access to the internet as a young child you're broken as a person"

Not use the Library as a daycare if they don't monitor the children's computers? Not give my children access to my computer?

If you can keep your guns away from the kids you can keep your computer out of their hands way easier.
So a curious kid walks into your room and gets on the computer... Boom unsupervised access

Sufficiently motivated children will almost certainly be able to get into things they shouldn't at least a couple of times. Sufficiently determined parents can use discipline to dissuade them from continuing to get into such things. Some will fall through the cracks. Some children will refuse to learn. This does not mean that efforts should not be made, or that they will be ineffective in most cases.

This isn't rocket science. When dealing with a child or tween, if they aren't learning their lesson, escalate the level of punishment. Don't go crazy, but half-assing it isn't helping anyone.

The fact that a small handful of whiz kids actually can run circles around their parents doesn't change the fact that for almost everyone, it's something that can be accomplished.

I don't know if this was posted before, but a month ago Trump was asked questions about Qanon and his answer was amazing
