You're right about all but the indigenous people thing; never really bought the 'noble savage myth/meme' unlike most who began on the Left.

I wasn't saying you believed or bought into all those potential positions, I was just using those as examples of the arguments/ideas the Left used that were often founded on the idea of Nature being "good".

I'd noted long ago you'd started moving away from axiomatically believing the entire "nature = good" thing when you write about environmental issues, as rather than adopting that framework you've adopted a much more pragmatic framework to argue for environmental responsibility, as well as being fully willing to acknowledge that the modern Green movement is full of anti-nuclear and anti-human idiots. But because it's a deeply laid axiom I figured you might be subconsciously seeing @Rocinante's explanation of bullying with that in the back of your mind.

It's fair to call out left wing hypocrisy even if you don't support the shit.

For the record though, I'm not really a conservative, I do support gay marriage and equal rights and always have. And also have always thought the kids were off limits, and that's not changing.

It's pointing out how their intersectional stack bullshit ends up looking like nonsense and how their knee jerk "support the underdog" morality ends up making their stated morals conflict with each other.

That said, it's also meaningless and pointless to do so. Leftist have mastered doublethink on these matters ESPECIALLY when it comes to Israel.
