Madness. Why so many tanks? more Warmate would be better. And making our own Himars. If Belarus can, then we can, too.
As for the missile systems, Poland has a choice between building their own or buying from America, while Belarus has a choice between building their own or buying from Russia.

Given the latter choice, I'd build my own, too. American hardware is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Russia, as it turns out, is cheap but you don't even get what you pay for.

I read, that Belaruss still buy most of Missiles from China.Dunno,if it is true or not.
And, iam not against USA stuff- if we could produce it in Poland.

Ah I love the smell of missile spam in the morning
That reminds me....the US is going to need to restart wholesale tank production when we eventually build a Abrams successor. Albeit at least we're a good chunk of the way in terms in the infrastructure and skillsets reqired to do so

Constructing or welding "hulls" isn't that great an obstacle to overcome, at least in comparison to putting everything into said hulls.

Lima Plant is making new Abrams off of old Abrams Hulls. They also make Namer APCs which are based off Merkavas. I'm assuming those are rebuilds as well.

What about Sweden? they produced Leopard 2,too.
And germans and british shoud still have theirs, right?
They have repair\support infrastructure like we do for T-72M, Germans even make nice new turrets, but no hull production lines kept except Greece.

It's not that hard technologically, but it's slow and expensive. that's why the main ones all got shut down.

Poland to Purchase Around 300 K239 Chunmoo multiple-rocket launcher with the first expected to arrive sometime in 2023. They'll be used in addition to the 500 US HIMARS that Poland intends to purchase and which will be likely delivered in phases over several years itself.

That madnees. We would have 5 dyvisions.100 HIMARS and 60 K239 per dyvision? are they nuts?
We need maybe 200.

I asked a knowledgeable Polish forum. Planned Land Forces size is six Divisions, with four Brigades each. So, 24 rocket Artillery Battalions - at 18 launchers, that's 432 units. Taking a material reserve and wastage into account, an order of 500 seems about right.

Poland
On 27 August 2022, Poland's defense minister, Mariusz Błaszczak, said he is in negotiations to introduce South Korea's rocket artillery system.[17] On 13 October 2022, announced that he had completed negotiations with South Korea to introduce 300 K239 Chunmoo, and the framework agreement will be signed on October 17.[18][19] Poland had originally intended to procure 500 American M142 HIMARS vehicles, but such an order could not be fulfilled in a satisfactory timeline, so it was decided to split the HIMARS order into stages, buying less of them and adding Chunmoo procurement; the first South Korean launchers are to be delivered in 2023.[20]
That makes sense.

Less HIMARS - ok,IT COULD WORK

ATP was ranting :) about 500 missile launchers - regardless of type - being too many.

Indeed. But,for 6 dyvisions with 4 brigades each, and less HIMARS - 500 of all kinds WOULD BE ok.
