News of the Amused

Tanukana, a Japanese Tekken pro eSports player is in deep trouble after mocking vertically challenged men in a Livestream.

Inquirer said:
However, in a stream on February 15, Tanukana said “Men under 170 cm (5 ft 6.9 in) don’t have human rights” (translated). For context, the average male height in Japan is 170.8 cm (5 ft 7.2 in) and the average male height in the Philippines is 156.4 cm (5 ft 1.5 cm). She said these men should look into bone-lengthening surgery.

Her apology later posted on Twitter fell short and she started losing many sponsorships and was even fired from her professional eSports team.

She's 29 so this might be a midlife crisis.

She's too based for the industry! They cannot contain her Stacy-energy!

Yes and she's a looker as well.

Also there's the general rarity of high level female gamers in eSports... at least ones who don't have penises from a previous life.

"LOOK AT MY BOOBS YOU BASTARD!"

Slow news day, but I love how this story might've been blown completely out of proportion.

A Massachusetts College Student was cited for climbing multiple fences at a Boston Zoo so he could, in his words: "
“I was about say 20 yards away, and there was a fence between me and the tiger,” he said, adding he intended to get close enough to look the animal directly in its eyes. “They say it’s something called the eye of the tiger. They say the eye of the tiger is the most dangerous thing you’ll ever see in your whole life … They say that the soul is visible through the eye.”

After getting lost in the felines eyes, the Bengal Tiger then mounted the 24 year old college student.

There was still a fence for the enclosure itself and apparently the tiger just growled at him when staffers noticed the college student was trespassing. In his defense, the college student says he passed through an open gate and that it was closed behind him and he was unaware he was trespassing. At this juncture, its pure speculation as to whether the college student was wearing pants at the time.

He ain't Monty Sloan and the tiger probably was very much not thrilled with his presence.

Russians stealing from Hollywood and distributing it on pirate-platforms that destroys their dues-paying consumer base while Hollywood desperately sucks-up to the PRC to be allowed into the Chicom market for that consumer base is a grand irony I'm honestly A-OK with.
...
On the other hand, give it three months and maybe we'll have zaniness about how paying your $5.99 monthly subscription fee to Disney-plus is the price of freedom and the best way of showing your support for Ukraine.
