No, what they are doing is making sure that any Speaker actually represents the new face and new GOP, not the old establishment shits like McCarthy who got us here.

The fossils in charge of the GOP, who put the GOP in the position it is now in of having betrayed it's voters more often than served them, need to be sent into retirement and new blood is needed in the GOP leadership.

Jim Jordan would be an acceptable compromise as well, though I'd prefer Scalice because Jordan is more useful on Committees he cannot be on as Chair.

Any 'investigation' under him will be a sham and shell to protect the Uniparty while either giving a scape goat or two at the lower level (Impeach Biden, fat chance), or do sham/shell investigations that go no where but do 'debunk' the 'conspiracy theories' that threaten the Uniparty.
