The Right and White Nationalism - An annoying cancer

Enlighten us as to why, exactly, you seem to be under the preconception that the fact that popular music genres varying proves genetics is fake?

Good grief man I'm not saying genetics is fake! What I'm saying is that it doesn't play the god role that some people on this board think it does. My point was that less than a single lifetime ago black American culture was vastly different than what it is today despite the gene pool not changing that much. Somehow in a single lifetime we went from black culture being about religion and family, to drugs and murder.

Had this occurred over the course of a thousand years I might be able to buy that it's genetic, but 100 years, yeah I'm sorry I don't buy it.

This is also presumably why all in all of Sub-Saharan Africa, the first two story building was a European mission, right?

That damn LBJ.
Yeha Temple was not built a European mission, it was rededicated into one centuries after it's construction.

And, well, prevailing opinion is that these weren't European Missions either.

Huh. Turns out that liberation was greater evil than colonization. Though OTOH there were quite a few cases where colonialists also destroyed native peoples, heritage and all (Belgian Congo and German genocide of Herero and Namaqua come to mind).

Don't get me wrong, I have no desire to rule over strangers, nor to 'civilize' them. But the idea that European Colonialism was some sort of unique and unredeemable evil is one of those pinko-commie just so stories that creates a narrative mythos of "unearned white privilege."

I would like to point out that Pyramids are not Subsaharan Africa. They are part of the Mediterranean civilization, not African one, if you want to be really technical (Greeks got their art from Egypt - compare kouros / kouroi statues to those of Egyptians pharaohs). In fact, up until Islam came, there was no all-encompassing European civilization: you had Mediterranean, North Sea, Subsaharan, Arabian and Persian civilizational circles, roughly speaking. Rome, Greece, Egypt and Phoenicia were part of the Mediterranean circle. After Arab conquests, Mediterranean civilization retreated into southern Europe and then expanded northwards, transforming into European civilization, while Mediterranean civilization in North Africa was replaced by Islamic one, and Persian civilization was absorbed by the Islamic one (resulting in Iran being somewhat culturally distinct from the rest of Islam). Arabs also basically genocided natives via outbreeding them, so that Northen African phenotype transformed from Amazigh (seen below) to Arab one.

Ah, we're playing the "arbitrarily narrow the definition to exclude things" game, eh?

Still wrong though, meet the Great Mosque of Djenne in Mali. Actually Mali has a ton interesting architecture.

The Historic Center of Agadez, Niger, also wants to know what you're on.

Now I don't even know what you're getting pissy about mate.

This entire line of thought is a gigantic straw man. No one on the genetic side of the issue believes that there is no such thing as culture. Culture plays a big role in what people are like, literally everyone on earth who thinks of such issues knows that. What the other side doesn’t acknowledge is that biology also plays a significant role in determining what a person is like.

When I bought up policy at all you didn't even acknowledge that there was a person behind said policy. You just asked "so it's white peoples fault?" So it's kind of hard not to see you obsessed with genetics when that is the only thing you seem to focus on.

It's not arbitrary, since the discussion is about race, not that something in the geography of Africa makes two story buildings difficult.

I'll concede that there is some impressive architecture on the southern border of the Sahara that I was unaware of.

My supposed obsession with genetics is irrelevant. "Obsession" is subjective anyway and even if it weren't, it would be an ad hominem argument. I was saying that both the left and mainstream right narrative is to blame white people for different outcomes among the races. You're not even addressing my objection to your post, nobody believes that culture plays no role at all, but you are pretending like there are people out there (or even people here) who think that biology is completely responsible for everything. Nobody claims that.

Eh...maybe could be useful to inform a baseline, but human beings often rise above their nature. Nurture is a good deal more important. For example, if anything an African boy from an arse end of nowhere village is probably more productive to his society than some welfare brat raised in Detroit who thinks gangster culture is cool.

I know you think that you said something meaningful there but you did not. An ox might be more useful to that village than either the boy or a welfare brat, what does that say about the potential of any of them? Humans cannot rise above their nature, the idea doesn't even make any sense. Humans work within their nature, human nature is a real thing, its not some imaginary post-modernist construct.

There is no such thing as nature being more important or nature being more important, both are necessary for a human to function. To take an extreme example, put a person with a natural genius IQ in a room with no human contact for their entire lives, and their brain will be mush. Take a severely retarded person and give them the very best upbringing and they still wont be able to function normally. Almost everybody is between those two extremes.

But there is no need for idle speculation here, these things have been studied. IQ has been proven to be mostly genetic, and IQ is highly correlated to all of the things we associate with genetics, likewise racial differences have been proved to be hereditary as well, including with adoption studies.

The pure culture side of this argument has no leg to stand on, which is particularly bad since they fanatically cling to their dogmatic view of humanity and demonize any dissent.

Hate to break it to you honey but most of the the powerful that laid down the framework for our current situation happened to be white people. It's not a mark on you it's a mark on them. Yes genetics play a part but it's not a significant enough part to justify this Collectivist narrative that people are to justify. Meanwhile the individuals who are primarily responsible for the country's issues are largely going unnoticed or are being largely dismissed as unimportant. Which will inevitably allow them to gift to whatever political narrative is popular and the whole thing will start over again. My point is we are spinning our wheels with this whole nature vs nurture argument and wehile we do so the elites are laughing all the way to the bank. We seem to be looking for some sort of final solution (don't say it) when we should be hoisting the elites by thier own petards.

There was no nation of Native Americans which people from Europe, Africa, or Asia immigrated to.

It's funny that you whine about white guilt and then you turn around and make excuses for this crap. There may not have been a singular nation of Natives, but there were nations, and yes, the US did steal their lands. No one alive is guilty of that, but if you're going to be an apologist for it, you're still a racist asshole.

Our ancestors conquered the continent and let your ancestors live, are you implying our mercy was wrong?

This goes a long way in convincing people that you're totally not racist. ;) I mean, we already knew you were a horrible person, but you just insist on giving us even more examples to show this, like you're afraid we'll forget or something.
