The convoy is gonna begin in California, and it will go all the way to D.C.
Assuming they get more people joining on the way, they have the potential to quickly get a bigger crowd than the Ottawa protest.
I don't think many people will try and CC into DC, but I will pay a entire United States dollar if at least some of these truckers don't have guns in their trucks for self defense.
I am interested to see how it plays out, the covid restrictions that are the casus beli for the protest as going away fast, likely because the powers that be realized it could lead to Canada style protests. But Biden is too unpopular for that to save him, especially with this forced Ukraine fiasco and the audacity to ask americans to take even higher gas prices to secure a border they have no interest in while their own is ignored.

I did not expect him to do that; I guess someone in a position to tell him what to do decided the Canadian people weren't quite pacified enough yet for them to risk completely abandoning the ruse that Canada is still a free country.

Heres some of the skinny.
1) There is a mass run on Canadian banks right now, as people rush to withdraw savings. You dont hear about it, but its happening. Canadian banks have long been well regarded for their stability, so this is A Big Thing.
2) Trudeaus polling isnt looking good
3) The act looks like it wasnt going to pass in the senate. Thats a big deal, because canada's senate is largely ceremonial and rubberstamps the commons. For the Senate to vote against an act passed in the commons..thats big. real big.

I really do think that there should not be a US convoy, but instead for drivers to prominently park their trucks put up some signage and just refuse to pick up loads and make deliveries. Be prominent but don't interfere with the draining of the stores and just wait for the pressure to ramp.

Nah, sending him to Cuba is too cruel. He should be exiled (through lawful means of course) to some forsaken Atlantic or Arctic Island.
