The Americas The Tyranny of Trudeau's Canada

I don't think these guys fully thought out their plan at all because historically speaking this ends very badly for elites who pull this kind of shit
The elites who pulled this kind of shit were geographically located where the peasants can reach them. Globalists are not an issue the local peasantry can deal with violently. At best, you can kill the sock puppet.

Freedom is dangerous, you need to have the government to control freedom so you don't hurt yourself citizen! t. Canadian Judge

Also Freedom is Racist and Colonial

Never forget, these people want you dead, your children raped and brainwashed, and they think it's funny and righteous.
It's this kind of self-flagellation that causes various dictators to see the West as weak. Heck, 'freedom is racist and colonial'? This insults those very colonized peoples who fought for de-colonization and freedom.

Future generations will say that this was a time where the elites fucked everything up with stupid cult shit.
True. Hopefully social engineering would be made illegal once again. Worse, Freeland’s eagerness for freezing accounts of protesters might be copied by actual dictators if they haven’t done it already.

I would avoid bitcoin.

I'm fairly certain it and other digital currencies are a trap. They make it insanely easy to track your every transaction and if they freeze your accounts for wrong think your out of luck.

Not really, but it depends on what you mean by won.

If you mean the trucks moved out of the city is winning then yes. Win for him.

If you mean Trudeau tore the mask off and went full fascist against genuinely peaceful protesters and may end up causing Canada to break apart due to being exposed for the fascist authoritarian he is, then the truckers won.

And the protests haven't stopped. They just moved out of that city. Or that was the last I heard anyway.

Correct on all counts. Most provinces are backing away from restrictions, as well. The Prairie provinces have been the quickest about it but even Quebec, which was on the verge of imposing a literal vaxx-tax before the convoys got going, is lifting restrictions as well.

Decent chance of a Tory majority and possibly even PPC seats next election, too. I know they're not THAT much better than the Liberals, but Castreau has proven himself so awful that a literal flaming bag of catshit in 24 Sussex Drive would still be an improvement. Which reminds me - that's another victory for the truckers right there, getting Erin O'Toole replaced most likely by Pierre Poilievre (who isn't as based as Bernier but still a vast step up from O'Toole) so that a future Conservative government at least won't literally just be a continuation of Trudeau's regime.

It was always likely since the Liberals are approaching the end of the usual lifespan of governments in Canada; with the exception of Wilfrid Laurier's straight 15 years in power from 1896 to 1911 and Mackenzie King's third term, which lasted thirteen years due to a combination of the Great Depression and WW2, our longest-lasting governments usually last 8-10 years (even Trudeau Sr. got temporarily knocked out of power in 1979, unfortunately his successor Joe Clark was the O'Toole of his day). For comparison, Harper's and Chretien's governments (the most recent Canadian governments to have attained a majority in Parliament) lasted 9 and 10 years respectively. What Trudeau has done with the Emergencies Act won't be forgotten anytime soon, despite the best efforts of the CBC and other mainstream media outlets, and it's pissed pretty much everyone off - even diehard Liberals and Dippers aren't impressed because he pussied out two days after he got it through the House of Commons. Even replacing him with Freeland wouldn't help because she's pretty much a Ukrainian Kamala Harris, already reviled by the right and lacking Trudeau's sex appeal toward 30-50 year old Liberal ladies to shore up support on the left.
