Things get worse in The Southwest

Of course there isn't money. They're too busy spending it fighting species extinction, like trying to breed fish that are so finickyt hey end up spending tens of thousands of dollars per fish. Victor Davis Hanson talks about some of the crap they get up to in California with state government funds.
I'm always happy to give Hanson a listen. Where does he talk about the wildlife stupidity?

Unfortunately, I didn't save the link, and a search just turns up much more recent videos. I think it was 2017 or so, the video. I remember finding it as a random Youtube link after listening to his talk about WWII logistics, and how Germany and Japan had both started wars they never actually had chances of winning.

Looks like Dixie is going to do more damage and grow bigger than expected a month ago everyone was worried about bootleg now everyone is worried about Dixie the fact that California has a stamp it out as fast as possible strategy doesn't help it means fuel builds up a lot

San Francisco is the most childless city in the United States. Only 13% of its population is under the age of 18.
Mecca of homosexuals - figures ...

However, I'm wary of data for large cities. The way city borders had not been moved for decades, if not centuries, such figures may very well be misleading.
Maybe in the suburbs you can't see the sidewalks for the masses of babies crawling over them? Breeders live outside SF proper, leaving it to swinging LGBTs? Well off empty nesters?
So, what are the figures for the San Francisco conurbation? IMO that'd be more telling.

I have one of these ballots on my desk next to me. I can confirm that is you fold the ballot as it was folded and place the ballot in the envelope facing this one way and position the ballot in the envelope towards the upper side you would be able to see this circle. It's not a very good plan IMO, as it requires a few actions by the voter that they have not been instructed to do. For one thing, if I just put the ballot in upside down or facing the other way, this doesn't work. If the ballot is not placed just so you have to shift the ballot around inside the envelope to see the marked spot. Could this be better? Yes, most certainly. Is this a vile plot? I mean, it could be, just a not very efficient one. You'd think there would be instructions on preparing the ballot if this was the plan and the envelope smaller so there's not so much room to place it in different places.

Why is there a hole in your ballot envelope in the first place?

Those things are supposed be solid heavy duty paper...

I have voted by mail in Arizona and now California since 2015 (frankly prefer not going to polling places and voting at my leisure), they have these holes adjacent to the signature line on the back of the envelope and one of them does through to the front. I'll speculate since I can't research this right now, but I expect it's to do with capturing the signature and opening the ballot.

I mean this entire thread is full of the state government being incompetent. Why should they suddenly grow a brain now?

All I have to do to defeat this plot is fold the ballot so the top third is covered by the bottom third. That's not even using new folds, just instead of the top third over the bottom third. There are 27 candidates to choose from on the one side (more on the opposite), the outside of the middle third has like 14 of these nobodies visible folded either way. I highly doubt Michael Loebs or Adam Papagan was able to influence how this ballot was formatted, and their names are basically in the prime space on that side and third.
