Trump Post Election News.

lol, again I say, the credentialed class is an enemy to humanity.

What's happening in Georgia scares the crap out of Trump because the State Supreme Court said "No, we ain't stopping her" when his lawyers tried to get them to do just that.

If he's found guilty in Georgia the Governer can't pardon him. He has to complete his sentence and then wait five years before elligible for a pardon.

Then there's the fake elector stuff. That's bad. Just ask the 16 people who were arrested in Michigan this past week for their role in such a scheme.

The Georgia GOP got in on that bit of nonsense too ...

For the fake elector stuff, note that what happens in one state's legal system don't necessarily match what happens in another state's legal system, as these are all state crimes as far as I am aware. So you could get guilty verdicts in one state and innocent in another even with a perfectly correct and law abiding judge, jury, and lawyers.

I'm saying this now to get out ahead of the eventual results of the cases.

The fact the court case is happening at all is an injustice, and just because it was a 'Trump judge' (not certain the judge favored Trump, vs was just one of those McConnell put in front of Trump to endorse) does not make attempt this case during campaign season any better.

If the judge was actually on Trump's side here, the case would be dismissed with prejudice, not kept afloat for the political corrupt DoJ to continue to pursue.
The judge is Eileen Cannon and she has a demonstrated history of favouring trump, it's not just a matter of who appointed her. With any luck, the judge isn't on anyone's side. Since that's kinda the point of a judge and all. As for her dismissing it... That just isn't really a thing. Like, trumps lawyer's could have moved for a dismissal and if they'd presented solid grounds then the judge could grant it. Pretty sure they haven't even tried that. Anyway, as for this being awful and unfair on trump, have you not seen his own release in response to the decision? Team trump apparently consider it a win worth celebrating rather than evidence of persecution.

Not sure where to put this, yet IMO not worthy of a new thread ...
Well here it goes :)
I looked at Trump's English language wiki entry and it seems to me to vehemently anti-Trump. Parts read like lifted from the New York Times, The Guardian, the Gazeta Wyborcza or Space Battles. No Trump fans/more truth loving wiki editors?

Wikipedia is overwhelmingly left wing.

It's pretty well documented.

I think one of the creators of it went on Tim Pools show a few years ago and talked about how it had been taken over and is being used for information control.

Conservative sources are quietly removed and articles referencing the wiki are used as sources themselves to reference for other wiki pages in a self reinforcing incestuous web of propaganda.

Lies with a thousand articles linked as sources with absolutely no real data behind them.

It's a mess.

It can be good if you are willing to use it as a secondary source to help find sources.
That is what I used it for

It's useful for things that haven't (yet) been politicized, like looking up dates when things happened in further back history, masses of celestial objects, properties of elements, etc.

You have to be careful with anything that is indirectly related to modern politics, and if it's directly related, it's a disaster.

Wikipedia only allows for secondary sources so it isn't even good for this.
Huh?
That is not from what I have noticed.
I have literally used Wikipedia for historical essays I have written, in the sense it provides a source for me to get.
Especially with ancient history and even up to the 1600s

Let us just say that Wikipedia is uneven and the closer to today it gets, the more uneven it becomes, and let's leave it at that.

I personally had a case - WWII related - where the wiki quoted a source, saying book X page 62, and I checked that book and there was NOTHING on that topic on the referenced page. So - caveat emptor!

At this point Id much rather we go on the offensive and give those assholes a taste of their own medicine.
This!

Playing defense, like the right always does, is a recipe for failure. Either the left wins, and the nation moves to the left, or the left doesn’t win, and it stays the same. The right needs to go on the offensive.

Of course, the left doesn’t just let the opposition into their organizations like the right did, so actively influencing them is harder.

It's the 'turn the other cheek'/'be the better man' bullshit so many in the GOP base hold to about American politics, because they want to pretend shit's more 'dignified' in losing gracefully than daring to fight back on the same level.
