United States Turning Point Fires Ashley St. Claire for Talking to Nick Fuentes

The Name of Love

Far Right Nutjob

As we can see here, a woman named Ashley St. Clare was fired from Turning Point USA for having a friendly conversation at a free speech event with Nicholas J. Fuentes, an American Nationalist YouTuber derided by both the Mainstream Left and the Mainstream Right as a white nationalist because of his vocal criticism of America’s pro-Israel foreign policy, mass immigration, and political correctness. TPUSA was pressured by Jared Holt, the founder of the Leftist activist website Right Wing Watch.

TPUSA is a pro-free market, pro-free speech student organization. It counts as its members right-wing stars like Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens. It’s funded by the Koch Brothers. And as a former member, I can tell you that most of the rank and file aren’t faking their beliefs. They are supposedly as conservative as conservatives get.

And yet... at the behest of a pro-censorship, Soros-funded muppet like Jared Holt, they fire one of their employees for talking to an alleged white nationalist.

I cannot express how frustrating this truly is, having been a member of this group in my later college years. But I guess I should expect the mainstream right to continue to disappoint. Given Moldbug’s analysis of the Cathedral, the Republican Party is basically the acceptable opposition, the people who will never leave the four by five card of allowable opinion. But what do you guys think? Do you think this part of a larger trend? Is this shocking to you? What can we do about this?

Ugh, another bunch of cuckservatives who are more interested in bending over backwards to placate leftists than in actually supporting fellow conservatives.

Unfortunately, so many of the supposed conservative institutions out there are the controlled opposition.

Note that it's barely even relevant whether or not she agreed with Mr. Fuentes; it's merely that she spoke to him like he was another human being.
The inciting incident was that Fuentes posted a picture of the two of them being friendly towards each other. No indication of whether they agreed at all. In fact, considering she’s a Jewish Conservative and he derides Jewish Conservatives as being “Israel Firsters,” I imagine there is a gulf of difference between their views. But that doesn’t matter.

Here’s a picture of the horrendous white supremacists that Ashley St. Clair allowed to interact with her.

I don’t know. I don’t think so.

I was just wondering, because the single raised index finger has become a symbol of Tawhid, the Oneness of God, for Islamists, essentially a shorthand gesture to represent the shahada.

Yeah, I am familiar with it, though I didn’t think about it until you mentioned it. It seems like something too obscure to be mockery but I really don’t know.

No. In fact, the short haired guy raising his finger is Nick Fuentes, who is an Italian Catholic. But I believe the guy in the middle is Ali Alexander, a pretty good conservative blogger.

That's why I wrote the post a bit tongue in cheek. I thought they were being daring enough to make fun of the Islamist symbol.

Anyway, a real Islamist making Tawhid with the index finger of his right hand is normally holding a severed head in his left; that's an easy way to confirm what it is.

It's not obscure to anyone who for whatever reason, professional or not, watches lots ME events related news and wants to understand what the little details mean, and i've seen instances of people mocking/parodying it.
This being TPUSA, it wouldn't be surprising that a bunch of them being politically informed enough have seen enough of it to want to parody it.

No, the people in the picture aren't TPUSA. They are the people TPUSA considers "white nationalists" and fired one of their volunteers for associating with them.

Again, what I find stunning was that the people who pressured TPUSA were Right Wing Watch. RWW is literally an Antifa-loving gossip rag funded by George Soros' Open Society Foundation. I'm just... why? Why the hell would you take those people seriously if you are a right-winger?

They're probably very paranoid about optics. Even here we've had issues with it; I have been worried about it myself.

Well, optics can't be ignored, but if you are cornered into adjusting them to the vision of your dedicated and obvious ideological enemies, rather than just the average person....
That calls for massive changes, or else may aswell disband, because that's a checkmate situation.

I think CG meant what people in general see on the board, and the accusation that we're fascists.
