As it turns out, people are a lot more willing to fight and defend what is theirs "Our nation is under attack by a vile foe!" than nebulous and often vague over-seas reasons which seem to serve little purpose for the nation "Terrorist leader #1929 wants to do some economic reforms in derkaderkastan!"
I think he might be talking about what happened in Minneapolis shortly after the riots kicked off. Their NG walked through different parts of town and fired paint guns at anyone who was even just standing outside their house.
Paint guns are not the same thing as actually bullet-firing weapons.
Not really. It was a pretty assholish thing to shoot people on their own property, even if it was only with paintballs. Assault and vandalism is what I'd call it.
I mean it definitely isn't right but definitely do need more context.
As time goes on that becomes less and less of the case as the left mismanages their power base into irrelevance. Look at LA, New york city, and Frisco 30 years ago and look at them today now fully understand its just continuing to get worse.
This is not a movement who enjoys more power as time goes forwards.

Not really,the internet is decentralized and cutting off a few population centers will not take it down, remember, the internet was created to survive nuclear war and there are lots of datacenters outside of major populated areas.

Problem is that many of the Left just end up fleeing those places without having learned and thing and spread their ideology to wherever they moved to.
while this is true you also get a lot of people who learned their lesson, Ted Cruz for example likely holds his seat today because of Leftugees fleeing california.

some people actually do learn from their mistakes. Ronald Regan was a democrat before he realized what a shit show it was and then lead a conserative resurgance. Trump used to be a dem and then led a conservative resurgence. Expect more defectors to come to you looking to fight for your cause because now its a generational thing.

With respect, i think that has more to do with how the left has crept steadily leftwards leaving behind people who were once on their side...who then drag the conservatives left wards with political positions a few years behind said left-wing parties.

Hmm, maybe recruiters should stop trying to try to go after the younger, more impressionable people in vulnerable settings (and schools are vulnerable settings, where adult power over kids is the highest), and instead approach people who are already over 18 to begin with.
Otherwise, maybe the recruiters should get used to a hostile atmosphere in schools when they try to get more access to kids who are not able to say no to school assemblies and other coercive methods of trying to get kids close to recruiters.

Which is the running theme with the military; hiding bad conditions and shitty behavior from recruits in favor of propaganda flavored views of the US military.
