What are you playing currently?

In what way, plus I'd prefer it when and if it comes to the Steam store.

Great gameplay, decent if yet predictable story, and some features that fans aren't happy with. I dont know the details on that.

One new game I'm playing at the moment.

Heroes of the Storm which I know... is like... a half decade after it's heyday but I didn't even realize it was free to play and the Heroes of the Storm starter packs were like five dollars on clearance at a nearby store so I figured it'd be a great game for me and youngins to play. Sure enough it is... I am utterly worthless in anything resembling a multiplayer match but I can muddle through 'Versus AI' on the lowest difficulty settings. Master the attack and/or move keys and special attacks is hard enough and the game itself is extremely click intensive which is a bit much for me... so I can only manage a few games at a time before I get at least momentary burnout.

The game itself is great... and I love the concept of bringing together all of the Blizzard properties. It reminds me of Disney Infinity and Lego Dimensions and the amazing stories those 'Toys to Life' games managed to bring to life and the scenarios in the former at least that you could set up and play with friends and relatives and stuff. Needless to say... I love crossover style games and I'm even more hopeless at fighter games so that narrows it down significantly.

Right now I'm content to doing the daily quests and making bank on getting more gold so the kids can benefit and play with more unlocked characters and other errata. If this Quarantine frees up more... free time though... I'll probably see if I can play a week or two of Darkest Dungeon still before I forget everything I've been doing in that game and lost interest and start over AGAIN!

I live with a few housemates and, when people started working from home, we set up a local Minecraft server hosted on a spare PC (FTB Revelations modpack), so I've been dicking around in that quite a bit.

Intending on finally picking up Hand of Fate 2 sometime soon and getting stuck in... I was a huge fan of the first game, so I'm looking forward to it being my new timewaster for a little while at least.

I had nothing at all to do on the East long weekend, so I smashed through the FFVII Remake, 49 hours over four days, and I'm satisfied and done with it for now. I'll probably pick it up again in a week or two to just round out my trophies and such.

Finished the original Final Fantasy not too long ago (spent like ten minutes staring at the end screen; it just felt good to beat one of my childhood-defining classics once again), and am gearing up to play one of my favorites in the franchise; Final Fantasy 4. Now if only I could stop playing Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead long enough to actually do so. Seriously; I get so addicted to sandbox crafting/survival games, I think I might have a problem.

Got the Parapheen ending on Vangers.
It's a really 2010s plot point for its time period, before cyber-gnosticism was all the rage with video games. Quite fresh that it didn't do a "playing the game is an intrinsically evil act" thing like Undertale though.
Doing a new run with the Keep Landscape Alterations setting enabled...maybe.

Currently playing Dark Souls II: Scholar of The First Sin after having mostly finished Dark Souls Remastered

If it wasn't for my completion-addiction-compulsion, I'd just skip this game and go play Dark Souls III & Bloodborne which are weirdly enough easier than it

Simple things like enemies not responding to being hit, before or mid-attack, makes it so they can more easily kill me

I am currently Grinding for money in Gta online which is difficult because Assholes in their cancerous oppressor mk2's keep blowing me up.

Its why that when a game lets you play male or female I always pick female. Not because I identify with them more but because if I'm going to spend the next ten hours staring at someone's arse bouncing around on the screen it's going to belong to a hot girl :p

I still get flashbacks to MGS4 and old Snake's perfectly sculpted buttocks on the screen for days at a time. I respect that the guy kept in shape but enough is enough :p My better half just laughed every time I tried to play it which didn't help the atmosphere :D
I think Kojima did it on purpose, but at least he threw that Israeli sniper into the other game to make up for it

I guess that's the difference between me and you guys. Ya'll staring at the posterior. I'm looking ahead to put my target reticle on my next target. :p

Currently I'm replaying Total War Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai and also enjoying various mods for Star Wars Empire at War and Sins of a Solar Empire. Once my finals are done I'm also going to start playing Mount and Blade Bannerlord

I admit there are some games I play for reasons that have nothing to do with the mechanics :p

I will freely admit that I am deeply impressed with how much time and effort people have put into making Skyrim a hardcore porno game.

They are seriously pushing B tier professional animation and graphics design quality. Then there are the fully voice acted porno quests.

/PC master race, taking a 10 Gig game and adding on a hundred and fifty gigs of meshes, textures, and animations, and audio mods to make it all better.
//I need my 8k mountain textures dammit. :D

As for what I have been playing, I got Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Oblivion dirt cheap on GoG, reinstalled and re-modded Skyrim; Bethesda provides great ways to waste lots of time.

Although what I really want is a Skyrim mod that makes the game two player co-op. Alas, even coding that over LAN is a cast iron bitch; although you could actually do it.

Besides my Bethesda kick, I ended up with a Steam key for Ultimate Admirals: Age of Sail (it's in early access, and it shows). It is surprisingly fun if you can get past the early access nature (no tutorials worth the name, crappy UI, spelling errors, etc).
