What If? What if the Galactica (NBSG)and the Civilian Fleet find Earth. Sort of.

In this scenario the Galactica and the Colonial Fleet just as they make the jump from Caprica actually arrive at Earth. But what they don't know is due to ROB meddling they ended up at Star Trek Earth circa 1947 just above the United States. And due to further ROB meddling all the Civilian Starships are placed in the US in the State of Kansas. Only the Galactica is still in orbit. The ROB also forbids the Q and the Temporal Agents to interfere. He is making a branching timeline and they will have to deal with the new normal. The US Government is also informed by the ROB about the Space Ships and the Galactica in orbit. And that they are not enemies but allies. How does this change to the Star Trek Timeline affect the Centuries to follow? What will the Vulcans do when they discover the Galactica in Earth orbit?

Special Note: Just to be a dick the ROB has sent the Cylon Fleet to the Star Wars Universe circa the Clone Wars. Telling them that the Old Republic and Separatists are both planning on enslaving them. So to keep them occupied and not questioning what is going on.

Edit: The Battlestar Pegasus will arrive in Earth Orbit a year later in 1948.

Separatist, and maybe Republic, could really try to enslave cylons.
ST Earth - USA rule world, easy like that.Till Vulcans come - colonials have nice FTL,but that was all.Their warship, not mention marines, sucked compared ot all ST factions.

Cylons are screwed, as either faction would destroy them easily. Especially once the Cylon habit of nuking planets happens. It also will depend on how the Jedi 'see' the Cylons in the force.

Post WWII...holy crap. BSG will have an issue with the mono-theists that VASTLY outnumber them...however, the "Allies" label will likely help overcome that. Wow, will the US have a tech advantage in no time, and a VAST resource advantage once they can take advantage to start accessing the Sol System's resources.

Cylons being Cylons. But the USMC can give the Colonials proper pointers in how to be true Devil Dogs. That and the value of Crayon eating. :p

The Nuclear side of the Cold War more than likely not go the way it did in Star Trek. Since ICBMs will not be the major problem. A Battlestar parked in orbit an all would be enough to make Stalin say "Shit they have the high ground." Plus Colonies on the Moon and Mars could be a thing by the 1980s. Earth might make first contact with the Vulcans via that one Vulcan scout ship seeing the Galactica in the 1950s. T'Pols grandmother will have one tale to tell her when she is a kid.

Yeah umm guess humanity get's a head start and might learn from the Vulcans earlier, we also might avoid the eugenics wars.

As for the Cylons ha they are fucked they get destoyed by laser fire from both the Grand Army of the Republic and CIS.

Unless ROB makes their programming languages the same...prolly not at all.
As a techie, that is deeply offensive, deeply, deeply offensive!

But I am not going on a tirade about magical movie hacking.

I will just echo the sentiment that the Cylons are screwed sideways in the Wars universe.

As to trek, well frankly, a lot of Trek stuff can easily wipe the floor with them, and this little addition just might be enough to get the Vulkans to contact humanity prematurely.

Also, Q and the Temporal Agents might be banned from interfering, but that ban doesn't extend to a certain starship named Enterprise.

Somehow Kirk bangs at least one Number Six, probably a few more, simultaneously, with Cain and Number Three somehow joining in.

And yes, I am having 'Banned from Argo' playing in my head, it is late and BSG and Trek mentioned in the same thread somehow got that thing playing in my head.

The Cylons might be able to hack and use the droids and possibly the ships, though.
The Skin Jobs are the biggest threat as they can pass for Human. And get a few in the right postions on Corusant and they can cause havoc.

Cylon instead of Palpatine?
This brings up something very interesting. We know that Assassin droids have killed Force users in the past. Points at HK-47. I wonder if Palpatine can even sense a Cylon Skin job plotting to kill him? And if they do and replace him with Skin Job Palpy. Oh boy oh boy oh boy the Butterflies that will happen.

That is the question. They may or may not be. They have organic tissue and Machine Hardware in them. And they brains are basically computers.
Droids are present in the force just not as strongly as living organics. The reason I think the Cylons would be present more strongly than droids is that they are also living organics.

The only things NOT present in the force are the Ysalimari (sp?) who are natural suppressants of the Force and the Vong...who were actually severed from the Force by their planet...yeah...go figure that one out.

What if they infiltrate the Clone Battalion that guards the Senate? That could be used to force Palpatine to expose himself as a Sith.

I never finished nBSG. Did the Cylons demonstrate that they could clone a human and turn said clone into a skinjob?
Well the Cylons have shown to be scary level resourceful. So I would not put it past them. Even Colonel Ty was a Cylon. Granted one from Earth but a Cylon all the same. So all they need is to get one Clone trooper and his Genetic template and they might be able to pull it off.

That's a viable plan then UNLESS they get near the Palps or the Jedi as I'm pretty sure the difference would be noticeable to them. Coruscant Guard would be really difficult, but the standard line units would be vulnerable to a degree. The problem is that the Clones know EACH OTHER really well, and they are typically deployed as creches to units when they graduate.

That would be tricky. I think the best way for them to infiltrate is to stage some sort of false attack that separates a few of the clones from the rest. Then insert the Skin Jobs. Any difference in behavior can be chocked up them being injured during the attack. Aka they got a case of the rattles. As to palpy an the Jedi. a very long plan is in order to trip them up. Like months long.
