Woke Librarians and Children's Books

Censorship would be a headache to handle. You start with dedicated porn sites, then they find titties on wikipedia.

Of course it would not be 100% effective, but i think what we mean here is common white/black listing software used in schools and even workplaces. Given enough time of course a 16 year old aspiring to be a haxxzor or even a decent power user might find a way to get around it, but that excludes at least 99% of library computer users of the kind that wants to watch porn there.

No, it’s different, because they’re censoring and burning them for “Hate Speech” instead of saying stuff that goes against the state and society’s oppressive beliefs and way of life

As my mom says, “if you don’t have anything “good” to say, then don’t say anything at all”

And they dare complain when students burn "woke" books?
This teacher should be thrown in the trash cans instead of the books.

I was kind of worried until I found out they were forced to buy her book.

Then it all made sense, when your forced to pay over 50 bucks for some shitty book your going to be angry about it.

Wait for them to realise how angry they are about being forced to pay with their time and money for classes that have nothing to do with their original chosen coursw

The part books play in the education of a child can't be overstated. They can literally set the tone of a child's entire life, their worldview, how they process and learn as an adult. And of course, it seems Woke Culture has cottoned on to this.

A lengthy article, but it's worth reading, even though I myself walked away more annoyed than I was before reading it.

So what can be done about this? I beleive the answer to be an active parent (for those of us who are parents), to take the time to explain the things unsaid to your kids and to be judicial in what your child intakes, but that feels... Insufficient? Too daunting? I mean, it's only going to grow from here.

That brainwashing is not surprising, but probably won't work in the long run.

1) Parents are catching onto this sort of thing and they generally correct a child when they start spouting off things that don't match their ideology.
2) Child morality is actually established at a very young age; 1-4 actually. You can't get enough children into government programs at that age to sufficiently brainwash them. The children might listen, but what you've established is something is correct because an adult says so, while knowing that it is fundamentally wrong.
3) Hispanic parents are going to be furious.

Something to push back on, but it won't work.
