It would be interesting to do a medical follow up study on service members to see how many developed issues later on because of that vax.
RA is not a huge issue, but it is a chronic one and there may be others.
Of course the DoD and VA would never allow said study without a SCOTUS level court order, so it'll never happen.
The Anthrax vax is a lot more important and vital then CPVID one.
Anthrax can mill your whole army, COVID is not going too.
So they basically only had two options.
Allow it or not.

Maybe they could have waited for FDA approval instead of rushing it; the whole Anthrax scare after 9/11 was blown way out of proportion.
If they are continuing to force people to use that vax, instead of trying to come up with a new one without side effects like RA, the DoD better be putting aside a lot of money for when lawsuits come down the pipeline and vets need care for chronic conditions.
The DoD saw after the Anthrax scare, that it was possible for someone to get thier hands on it, on US Soil. Imagine how dangerous an enemy could be wkth it.
Better to have your troops vaccinated with something that can give RA, then lose your force should an enemy decide using Anthrax is worth it...
And no. They won't get any lawsuits because as I said, the side effects out weight the need.
They don't want the vaccine to get shut down, and put troops at risk.

IIRC the entire Anthrax scare was a scam by a guy who worked on biological weapons research who was scared they were gonna shut his people down to focus on the War on Terror, so he did a little false flag. By the time it was found out and exposed you guys had been fucked over and it was just sorta burried.
Yep! Looked it over. Apparently it was done TO KEEP THE ANTHRAX VACCINE PROGRAM GOING AND GET MORE FUNDING! Of course, this is the FBI and there is a chance they just fucked it up like with everything else but holy shit lmao.
No duh anthrax was in the US; it's not that rare a stuff, it's in most cattle/livestock ecosystems to some degree.
It's trying to weaponize and create a large amount of it is the tricky part, not actually finding a natural reservoirs.
Rushing vax's, be it for anthrax or Wu Flu, often has long term downsides that would be found in normal length studies/R&D cycles.
The military had to look at the facts.
Allow for targeted people to be hit by Anthrax where ever they be. Be it Korea, Middle East, Africa, or just give the vax to everyone as we are in an area where people would use bio weapons should they get thier hands on it...

As to following up, once it was discovered that it wasn't the vaccine that caused the girls problem it stopped being Pfizer's problem.
The self reports are literally just someone going to their computer or making a phone call and listing how they are feeling.

A good thing to remember, any risk from Vaccine spike protein is going to be magnified if you actually catch the virus itself while unvaccinated due to the higher ammount of spike protein created in an active infection when compared to the tiny bit you get through an mRNA vaccine.
You mean the vax's that don't actually seem to stop said infections from spreading or 'actively infecting' vaxxed people afterwards?
The vax's don't stop the active infections from happening, and they don't stop more spike proteins from being created when that happens.
Shit's endemic now, everyone is going to get it and have to deal with 'active' spike protein production, vaxxed or not.
We will have to learn to live with it as a species as we do for the cold and flu, not change our society permanently out of fear of it.
And, that's just wrong.
On pretty much every single level, which is honestly a bit impressive.
