China Wuhan Virus Pandemic

The vaccine is probably safe and effective to an extent. They wouldn't be putting it out to front line healthcare staff if they thought it was dangerous. Also, we've already got a vaccine for the original Sars Virus so it isn't like they started from scratch. To top it off, ludicrous amounts of money, personnel and research have been thrown at it so a rapid outcome isn't an impossibility.

And whilst the WHO and other experts rave about it "going on for years", governments (mine at least) are beelining for the vulnerable because they know once they are jabbed that is the end of this sorry affair. No risk of hospitals being overwhelmed and plummeting death rates mean they can safely deescalate whilst saving face, which is what it has been all about.

If by "false on technicalities" you mean they pointed out the tens of thousands person trial with no major side effects...

Then yes...
I mean they said "head of pfizer research", while he was a former-head of respiratory research, and "the vaccine is a female-sterilization", while the claim the doctors made was that it may cause infertility (along a host of other issues), so the vaccine should not be brought to widespread use yet and tested more for long term effects. They also brought their reasoning and proof to back it up in their petition.

So yeah, as usual Snopes deboonked something they made up based on what the real claim was.

The tens of thousands person trial would also not show any long term effects, which is why it's best to wait and see, and observe those volunteer's health carefully for the moment. Vaccines often have side effects, especially rushed ones like this, and I'd like very much to know what they may be before they are pushed onto the market.

P.S it was german doctor Wolfgang Wodark who claimed that new vaccines probably would made woman sterile.

Then, to be a little blunt, natural immunity after infection should do the same thing. The S-protein that is being produced by the mRNA vaccines is the same S-protein in the SARS-CoV-2 virus. If this effect was a thing, that should show up in COVID survivors. It doesn't.

The full petition from these doctors explaining their issues with the vaccine for your reading pleasure

You have the research they are presenting as well as a full list of references there.

There is pretty much zero actual evidence in that petition, just speculation of theoretical harm which they claim hasn’t been sufficiently specifically ruled out yet.

Past research into such thing like the petition does cites indicates there's a significant risk. It's impossible to present evidence of long term effects when the product is so recent and no studies on long term effects have been made.

Exactly.Wait and see - Wuhan is little worst then normal flu. There is no need to risk future generations. If we face something like Ebola or at least spanish flu that i would undarstandt "vaccine now" approach, but against something like this it made no sense.

If only the elderly, IE the high-risk groups, are vaccinated, the theorized infertility effects will be completely moot anyways.

But then, why would we expect a reasonable reaction like only vaccinating the high-risk groups?

What's to keep some group from using what they call Wuhan Style Virus to impose more lockdowns and such at a future date?

Unless you have some serious preexisting conditions you have like 99.9% chance of survival. You may not even notice the symptoms if you are lucky.
