I haven’t dared look at some of our sister sites, I’m betting that they’re orgasming over the prospect of Trump dying. If he does die or get so sick he has to step down, they are going to get nasty beyond all decency in their jubilation and celebration.
On both a political level and a personal (caring about the Trump family as human beings) one, I very much hope he pulls through with minimal symptoms.

Oh they're cheering about that, they are spouting nonsense about how Trump deserved it because of how he handled the WuFlu and not wearing a mask.
In the long run if Trump gets through this and its just a nasty flu to him which happens in the vast majority of cases then hes going to able to point to that as a reason to get rid of the lockdowns. It gives him more moral authority not less.

Just checked Twitter, and the blue-check apparatchiks are predictably rejoicing. When liberals cheer Trump having coronavirus, they are ceding whatever ground they held on the issue. It can't be both a super serious virus that requires all of us to stop living life until the vaccine is released and a tool of political revenge.

But five years of the Trump trolling have made me a new man, much as it has made a new nation and a new world. I’m ecstatically happy that they’re cooming in sheer joy over this news, because the let-down in two weeks or less will mentally and emotionally break them.
Mark my words: President Trump will make a full recovery, a newly COVID-immune Trump will hold the most outrageously high-energy political rally in human history, and the twist of the knife in bugmen’s stunted souls will open up a deluge of salt so glorious that YouTube clips and Twitter screen shots of them will make 2016 look like the Clinton-Dole debates. I'm so fuckin' excited.

trump is more of a mixed bag to us in Cali, entertainment, tech, and pacific rim trade are the core parts of our economy, a second term for Trump will see massive conquences for all of these industries and on top of that the federal bail out we will need in 2 years isn't going to come, and we probally wont be allowed to declare bankruptcy so we are in for a complete collapse.
But then again the Dems decided to become the anti free speech party the anti gun party and the anti rule of law party so you know fuck them. If economic collapse is the price of having freedom then so be it.
