United States Biden administration policies and actions - megathread

Eh all you have to do is make this mention to a Ferengi. "So you wish to not let half the population make money so you can cheat them out of it?"

Do I need a PhD to understand what a supply chain is? At it's basic it's one industry that produces shit people need then someone is paid to take it from point A to point B to be sold or processed for shit people will pay even more for. To disrupt a supply chain it can be anything from shit like not getting paid, accidents and lack of staff to produce, process or take the shit from point A to point B.

Am I right so far?

Biden is from the same species that believes that just in time deliveries are the best idea ever.

The 'Just in time' system is powerful and useful, because it avoids having stockpiles of things not in use, and spending money warehousing. It's weak and dangerous, because it means you have little to no reserve and 'flex.'

It is a tool, nothing more, nothing less, and like any tool, overusing it or using it the wrong way is dangerous.

As many are now discovering to their pain.

Sam Starfall from the webcomic Freefall has a pretty good take on this: when you rob someone, don't steal everything. If you do you can't steal from them again.

He's an anthropomorphic squid in an environment suit who comes from an alien society which considers theft to be an honest and honorable profession.

He's just indulging in the regressive left's most treasured pastime; projecting.

Only thing I think you're missing is the beginning of the chain: gathering raw materials, transport of raw materials, processing of raw into base production material (ie. iron to steel), then transport of raw material to production center for finished good. In today's world, that could mean several stages of production before the final assembly of the good.

Have you ever thought about what goes into the making of a 12oz aluminum beverage can?

Three sheets of very thin aluminum and a rivit all put together in such a way that a quarter fed to a vending machine for some soda when I was a kid meant that my mom got a few minutes of "one less kid to keep track of".

The fact the can has a built in straw holder is icing on the cake.
Forgot about that because I've never seen the pull tab get used as a straw holder.

The real icing is that an aluminum beer/soda can doesn't burst until the pressure diffence hits 75-90psig. That's the icing because that's the kind of pressure difference submarine hulls have to handle under compression (instead of tension) when they're 200-250 feet below sea level.

Sigh...

Well, look and act weak and embolden your enemies.

I wonder how much money he's going to send them and how much he will blame trump.
