Tucker Carlson Leaving Fox News

After you answer who pays you. You said you’re getting cash for your stance. Don’t be shy now!

THE DMV! They pay it all! It's laundered from drugs sold in florida to Willie Nelson!

DMV employees make ok income, but really where a job like that shines is the benfits, insurance, dental and other benefits. I mean sure you can make more money in the private sector but its pretty much impossible to lose your job once your in the DMV. I know they get a lot of shit but honestly they tend to be less corrupt then academia and other government insitutions.

Well, they do have an investigating team....

I'm sure they only order you to spy on people suspected of car related crimes.

(wink, wink!)
How do you think they gang pressed in LordSunhawk? We had him threatened with jail time when we caught him driving a vehicle not up to code...

They threatened to take a knife to that leather beauty, and he folded like a bag of lays.

I mean it's a big operation for such a small forum, the DMV in Florida extorts out some drugs from dealers in exchange for getting their paperwork done a little faster, then they sell it to Willie Nelson 'like' party goers through sting operations in connection with the DEA for some quick bucks before a middleman drops it off in an envelope at the local Waffle House for pickup.

And then we get paid with that money to watch you we cross reference you in the database to determine if your driver's licenses are expired or nonexistence and upon you saying a phrase anywhere on the board like "I drove this week" or preferably "I am driving this week" we call the highway patrol, and the boys and blues move in for the pickup.

So far, we have caught...one member this way... in our past two years as a sting between us the mods have collected 500k in pay, but in our defense, we are still doing better than the branch of our division that is training Orangutangs to do the paperwork.

Well, as long as you're honest about it. I won't be afraid of you though! Your power means nothing to me!

If you were in Australia it might worry me a little more, I'll admit.

Carlson has been opposed to US support for Ukraine, That does not automatically make him a supporter of the Putin regime. Honestly that is one of the most idiotic ways of thinking, "Support US wars or you are traitor!" fuck that noise.
This is true, but this interview should help to clarify whether he's a supporter of the Putin regime or not. :sneaky: And to be fair, the reason why so many people make this assumption is because there's hardly ever a time that someone who is against us assisting Ukraine doesn't also defend Putin.

Absolute nonsense. While we have some pro-putin types here, the vast majority of those against giving aid to Ukraine will tell you that Russia is in the wrong, but this just isn't our conflict.

I'm not pro Russia, I'm anti US involvement.
So if I dug through your post history, I wouldn't find any posts of you defending Russia, not even by repeating the excuses they used to invade Ukraine?

Yes he does. We have the first amendment and freedom of the press in the US. Barbara Walter's interviewed Saddam friggin Hussein. This is what real journalists do.
Does the American Constitution apply to Russia now? Since when?

What does Russia have to do with the rights of American citizens conducting journalism?

It's not Russia saying he doesn't have the right, it's YOU, an American.
Where is Putin? What is Putin? Are you honestly going to claim and American journalist has a right to interview Putin?

Yes, as a matter of fact, I am.

An American journalist has the right to interview literally anyone in the world who agrees to talk with them.
No, he does not have a right to interview Putin. Putin is allowing it, and I know you and everyone else knows that there are a lot of conditions for it. Tucker is an idiot, and now he's going to be a shill. The real question is going to be if he's a paid shill or not (like a certain someone on this board). Unlike Bacle, I don't think he should receive any legal repercussions for it, but I am all for him getting the Hanoi Jane treatment if he's dumb enough to do this.

He has the right, as an American, to conduct journalism. This includes interviewing controversial figures who are willing to talk to him. Tucker is an American, Putin doesn't dictate his rights.

Putin deciding whether or not to do an interview with him, has nothing to do with Tucker's right as an American to conduct said interview. If Putin refused, this is not taking away any rights from Tucker.

Just because one has the right to interview whoever they want, doesn't mean that the other side has to agree to the interview. But if they do, and Putin has, an American journalist has every right to do so.
