Hmm if this is an IRA cell member going after the PM then that whole cell is going to be hunted by both the British Government and the rest of the IRA because this sort of stuff draws way to much heat and will make both the British and Irish government hunt them so they will deal with there own in the house or contact them through back channels to let them know who the members of the cell are.

While they are the most likely culprits here and you would be correct in that the British government would come down like a ton of bricks on them. There is the possibility that this is another third party unlikely as it is in my opinion but we can't rule it out yet either. Looking on the bright side of this horrible situation if we successfully protect the Prime Minister the government would definitely see us as an ally they can rely on for aid. It would also surement our position as Britain's First Hero of course I shouldn't get ahead of myself here. Not that I'm too worried we are a reincarnated Heroic Spirit even if Merlin nerfed us in some way play this fight smart and we'll win.

Reasoning being that if they're being all sneaky-snakey and subtle about things then it makes sense that they're lacking heavy explosives or the like, and the technology would seem to suggest they won't be bursting through a wall by sheer strength...Hopefully, at least.
