Yeah they really need to set up the alert feature where the OP posting always creates an alert. Otherwise it's near impossible to know when a story or quest that had to pause for weeks or months has resumed without constantly checking your watched stories. Which is the thing alerts are supposed to keep you from needing to do in the first place.

You know, I just read the entire quest again to refresh my memory, and I can't help but be amused at how Merlin must be reacting to these latest developments.
Merlin, nodding, interrupts, “Indeed, for your afterlife, you get a new life in a new world where you,” he pointed at Arturia, “don’t have to be King
Arturia mere months later: *Proceeds to create an entire new ministry from scratch*

Merlin: *headdesk* Oh come on! *sighs* I really should have expected this, shouldn't I?

Anyone got any alterations they want to put into my vote?
"Examine the Traditional British and Japanese lunches and look at each of them see if it’s possible to put a new spin on fish and chips which is enjoyed by all as well as others besides, also look at putting on a special Sunday Lunch as well given that seems to be an important meal in the UK."

Doesn't feel like a stunt to me. This is more of a subvote instruction

A suggestion for focus for a low dice stunt, japan has a lot of fish dishes (not just sushi), England does have some decent fish markets and there are various traditional fish recipes. Maybe have the format as shirou making various dishes and doing a taste test demonstration to get a feel for preferences

A possibility, use Yuzu instead of lemon for a fish recipe. Not sure if it is actually good but my girlfriend’s sister likes using them for making "lemonades" so they should have similar uses. Huh, a sweet version of this called a Yuko (that was only grown in japan) was in danger of extinction around this time.

So, perhaps picture the cooking process for high end fish in the west, then add in a Japanese method or ingredient that would make logical sense (replace lemon with Yuzu, or a Japanese batter with a UK batter, use a noodle, I just found out about a potato noodle described as glass called a Harusame I have no idea what it is actually like).

Of course, japan has various other foods, methods, ingredients, spices, etc. and Shirou is probably familiar with some Chinese (due to knowing Rin and that they did become quite competitive when it comes to cooking).

Edit: looking at the Yuzu wikipedia described various uses. The standard "yuzu's flavour is tart and fragrant, closely resembling that of the grapefruit, with overtones of mandarin orange." there is a Yuzu vinegar and is also used to make various cakes and sweets, sauces (at least one notable spicy sauce), at least one tea, and some alchols

Ok so maybe something like this?
”Japan like the UK is a Island nation and has access to various fish markets put your skills to the test by making various dishes and substituting various ingredients in different recipes like replacing lemon with Yuzu. Have saber and then the staff at the hotel try the dishes then go from there challenging yourself to make a better dish.”

Closer to a stunt although it is still more of a describing a plan rather than the action.

Hm, how about something along the lines of putting a dish in front of Saber, giving a quick description of what it looks like (or its smell), and Shirou stating he switched the lemon with a Yuzu in the sauce to get a particular effect, getting her approval and then saying you will test it with the staff.

Hm, this is an exalted primer which is made by the same company as Scion so I imagine it has similar rules.
There is a bit where it compares different stunt descriptions. I don't know how safe the website is nowadays. I was looking for the "how to write a stunt" used in alchemical solutions. I doubt Speaker4thesilent uses an identical system...

Maybe there are people here who can use this information to provide more useful information

edit: perhaps something along the lines of Shirou laying out the food, saying what each part is and the theme is Yuzu, consiting of fish, noodles, a Yuzu "lemonade", Yuzu tea, and a cake.
Actually, here's the reciepe she uses
"Ingredients: 1 cup water, 1 cup caster sugar, 1 lemon Yuzu juice, Mint leaves
Add boiling water and sugar to pan, mix until dissolved Peel some strips of lemon zest. When pot is boiling, reduce to simmer. Add mint and lemon zest to pan. Juice the lemon, add lemon juice and equal quantities of yuzu juice to pan. Turn off heat, leave to cool, strain and place liquid in fridge Dilute with fizzy water to taste"
I've had it in the past and it was quite nice

ok so taking what you said then how about this

“Japan like the UK is a Island nation and has access to various fish markets put your skills to the test by making various dishes then place them in front of saber having swaped out various ingredients then have her taste test and describe what its like to you. Ingredients swapped can be like replacing lemon with Yuzu or altering the batter on the fish and chips to make it lighter. Whittle them down to the best dish using Sabers superior taste!”

also linke doesn’t seem to work for me.

Well that's annoying, I was using firefox just in case that works.

My Girlfriend's sister gave me her reciepe for Yuzu Lemonade (see my previous post). I'm not sure if the high class would use chips

Copied over
quote removed... a bit later than planned
The first two I don't think getting any points (2nd might be a stunt), the 3rd is a one die stunt, the last two are 2 die stunts... especially for quests, I'm not sure if I should have copied this or not... I will probably delete it in half an hour or so

Stunts are quite hard to make, and sadly just because I understand what they should be doesn't mean I'm any good at writing them
