I mean seriously, you do not seem willing to admit how badly compromised our civie gov is by the CCP, and how that informs whether your prep will actually mean anything.
The military operates on it'd own to a degree.
The military doesn't just invade foriegn countries without authorization from the government. And if you're arguing that it does, that's not a good thing.
Uh Zach, saying the military will not follow the civie gov is not making the situation seem any better.
In fact if the military won't listen to the civie gov, that's a good argument for why a standing army is something the Founders feared.

You want the military to follow the pres without any say like robots?
My point is, the military would take orders from the Joint chiefs and the SECARM and SECDEF. As well as congress.
There are other vectors besides the president ti order them you know.
What I want is a military that does not see itself as being able to ignore the civie gov, no matter who is in charge.
The military is supposed to serve the civies, not act as a nation unto itself.
I mean I remember the generals and Pentagon openly ignoring Trump's orders regarding Syria and other things.
