Machin apposes that because even if the democrats bill lets them cheat more effectivity...the republicans will still own the house through redistricting alone. The democrats will be the minority in the house for the forseeable future even with maximum cheating. Because of redistricting, and because people are just fucking sick of the lockdown's corruption and bullshit.

Its very much possible that the newly enraged republicans after winning dispite all the cheating will be out for blood and now the dems wont have the fillibuster to protect them from their wrath.

Tain't so. This was a serious effort by all indicators, the White House hired acapella group Pentatonix to perform it in belief that it will convince people to get vaxxed and boosted. Surely lyrics like "just like a seat for a little kid, just like the heat from a rocket ship, sometimes all you need is a booster," are filling you with an urge to go get jabbed?

I don't see the same manic energy from the dems this time, I see a lot of people just plain quitting and giving up, and I see a whole lot of god damned fury in the right and moderates. Sure if they cheat like hell they can blunt the gains, their still losing the house in the best case senerio and still have to spend ever greater reasources on maintianing a losing hand.

All of this costs money, all of this costs resources, I see them crumbling even in a best case senerio. This isn't the end of course not by a long shot but this is the end of the begining.

2026 for Mitch, not sure for Romney, think it's 2024 he's up for election next.

However getting either out is a challenge; both are pretty well embedded in their districts, and I do not know who could realistically deal with Romney, because Utah and Mormon influence is hard to break into or change.
