United States Biden administration policies and actions - megathread

Reminds me of that Omar Khadr case.

He could have surrendered, he could have run away. But no, they literally had to capture him.

And the claims that he didn't throw the grenade are BS.

Ended up getting $10 million CAD from Justin "Corrupt Blackface" Trudeau.

Sometimes, I wonder if 1984 has already become true and most of us just haven't noticed that we've become the Proles.
See? This is why you use drones!

True.

But the biggest problem was that Canadian intel officers went to Gitmo to interrogate him, which formed the basis of the case that they knew he was imprisoned and didn't do anything about it.

Should have just let you guys do the interrogations and then pay for the intel obtained using maple syrup.

People talk shit about the US IC, but we do get things done when we want to

Fucking hell.
He won that satate and is hated! I wonder if there was fraud there as well.
Joke on that last part

Looks like Biden's Department of Health & Human Services is starting the trend to ban the term "Mothers" and replace it with the term "Birthing Peoples."

Check out this cringey exchange between Oklahoma Republican Senator James Lankford and Biden HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra when asked about the change in language.

Is Secretary Becerra laughing because he's smug, or because he's so f'ing lost in how to try and answer a question without using the term 'Mother' when defining 'Birthing People?'

On a more light-hearted note....
