As an ex-Dem, I feel you.

There are a lot of moderates and classical liberals who support Trump because of how insane the Dems have gotten.

Plus, Trump actually gets shit done, instead of just talking a good game. First Step Act, 10 years of funding for HBCUs, permanently funding the Nat'l Parks, bringing our troops home from A-stan and Iraq, getting American astronauts into space on American rockets, the list goes on.

It is one of the reason I am supporting President Trump. He actually tries to do the things he says. The Democrats and Republican Politicians promise a lot of things then don't do any of it. Kind of why I remain an independent. I vote only for people I think will get shit done.

It's easy to claim peace in the middle east when you let ditactors gas their populace, betray your local allies, do nothing about Russia putting bounties on American Soldiers and... this is the same Trump who ordered a drone strike on a general in the Iranian military right?

I'm not seeing a counterpoint. Those things happened. The Kurds are not secretly happy with the US Government but CNN are keeping them down or whatever, the bounties thing absolutely happened, the drone strike on General whosamaflip happened.
Assad definitely gassed his own people.

The are different types of war. What Trump has done so far has been proportional punitive strikes rather than an endless half-hearted occupation. If you are not willing to engage in blatant colonialism, this is the best way to deal with the troubles in the middle east.

I don't like getting fucking endlessly tangled in the middle east more than anyone, the Iraq War is still political poison in Britain for a reason. But you can't actually claim peace if you quit a war, just as you can't claim victory. At best, you can admit that at this point giving up is better than staying, which is actually probably an idea I could get behind, cruel as it is.

The drones strike was used to show Iran we can and will attack if need be, he was in Iraq at the time planning and attack on the US Embassy.
Do you think US Soldiers cared they were getting bounties put on them? Taliban were notorious and still are for being vicious and violent towards US forces fighting them. Trust me. The bounties is literally nothing in the world.
It did not make them attack us more. It did not make them any more risky. It literally just something the Dems and MSM used to try and make it seem Trump isn't doing his job.
Hell, no one in the IC cared enough to spread the word because it was that minor of a thing.

What people are saying when they say peace in the Middle East, UAE peace worh Isreal, Bahrain peace with Israel. Etc etc.

I did not even know who the Kurds were btw until we pulled out of Syria.

What do the kurds offer us that we should stay in Syria?

Just because certain middle east countries are horrible does not mean most of it has become peaceful
