Duke Nukem
Hail to the king baby
Imagine getting hit by a 20mm yikes!
Depressingly little ballistics testing exists for traditional Elephant Gun cartridges. What about some old-fashioned - for example,Nitro-Express 600 ?
More crazy powerful rifles
It's a damn shame there's no viewable ballistic tests of these guns. It's very very difficult to try to predict the terminal Ballistics of something, so the .950 is another cartridge that all of us in the non-eccentric millionaire community can only wonder about. It's a 24mm projectile in what I believe is a 20x110 Hispano case, and the projectiles I've seen are all differently proportioned to various HMG or Autocannon rounds. If I had to guess it would penetrate something like 50BMG or 14x114 owing to it's short and heavy rounds requiring more energy to punch through a target.

Well thats just the thing, as a technical experiment/vanity project they really should have had the decency to give us all the useless data everyone wants..950 JDJ was never anything more than an extreme technical experiment -- only three guns were made and the ammunition was custom-crafted at a cost of $40 per cartridge. The two "production" rifles had sixty pounds of weights incorporated because the 50-pound prototype was uncontrollable, due to the recoil being approximately 277 foot-pounds of force.
That happens to be one if the most badass women out there. She is a character in MW and she lives guns and gad a body of an angel. As well as knows how to fight.
She is also the bearer of Frostmourne. Who knew the best Lich King would be a
Queen.
40mm grenade launcher vs Xenomorph head.
I seem to recall a Forgotten Weapons video that has Ian shooting soft armor with a Tokarev and it punching right through it. I don't know if it was IIIA or not, but I thought that was pretty good for an old surplus gun that last I knew ran around 300 clams. What is the cheapest pistol that has a commercially available loading that will reliably punch through IIIA? Something in .357 sig?
