Granted but instead of the Game you expected it is now a children's tv show that is about using card summons of stuff from Victoria II. The main protagonist is a spiky haired Anime Character.

Unfortunately, that race is the Engineers who then proceed to kick everyone's ass and then stupidly wipe themselves out, and the ensuing fallout makes the setting even more horrible.
